Stylish and sporty
This is my first brand new car right off the showroom floor. I have been driving my brothers' hand me downs for 10+ years and am very happy with this car. I noticed this KIA model several years ago when my friend got one. It was a more boxy back then. When I started shopping for a new car last fall I did a lot of research and the all new redesigned KIA Soul really impressed me. It looks really sleek and more expensive than it is. So far I am very satisfied with the performance and all the safety features are great. What a great price for this compact SUV.

Great for people older people.
The interior is surprising roomy and easy to get into and exit for older people. This is my 3rd Kia Soul. Plenty of "trunk" room.

This is my 5th Kia. I still have my 2003 Kia.
I loved my 2018 Soul but wanted back up camera so went for the 2020 soul. It practically drives itself. My family of 5 all drive Kia.

Love this car; wish it had AWD and Hybrid Option!
I really like this vehicle. I like the large 10 inch screen on my EX model. I like the average of over 32 mpg on my regular driving in small city commutes. The only thing that would improve the vehicle is to add both an AWD option for us northern U.S. driver in the snow and to offer it as a Hybrid. They offer it as a Plug in EV, but a Hybrid would get you likely over 50 miles to the gallon and it would be a great competitor with things like the Ford Escape and Toyota Rav 4 hybrids that may be a little too large and expensive for some people.

I own a 2021 Kia Soul EX Eco Dynamic version
It’s the second best Kia I’ve ever had. My first one was a 2016 base model with the Manuel transmission. I love love love my brand new Kia. When I bought it there was only 8 miles on it. I knew after a year and a half I would be getting the EX version I call it the sweet spot for me. I didn’t need the turbo variant but wanted more safety features and the IVT has proven it self to be one of the best CVT’s on the market. I really don’t like CVT’s but the way Kia has reprogrammed this one to shift just like an 8 spd automatic makes it drive like a dream. Fuel economy is way better than my ole 1.6 L w/Manuel transmission, 29-30 city and 33-35 Hwy of course it all depends on your driving habits. Auto dual HVAC, 10.25” infotainment which you can split into (3) screens keeping an eye on nav, weather and my music, you can switch around to several different options, apple CarPlay & android, SiriusXM radio, sunroof, and remote start adds to the creature comforts as well as the UVO app that you can download to your cellphone to Auto start your car from anywhere as long as you have a connection and set the temperature as well. Dual heated front seats and a mode select for normal or sport. The start stop function took some getting use to so I do keep it on, just know how to modulate the foot brake for faster starts at lights. It saves about 2-3 MPG. Therefore the Eco Dynamics. The regular sound system is above average but I wish the Bose system could have been a standalone option. I also had to get use to the lane keep assist, be sure to turn your directional signal on before changing lanes. This Soul will maintain keeping the vehicle squarely in the middle of the lane hands off periodically and it will remind you so. Auto headlight and fog light setting too. I really hate that they dropped the LED lighting for 2021 and the turn signal built into the side view mirrors. Would have loved the power retractable function on the mirrors too. The push button start is fantastic and right where it needs to be, by the handsome auto gear shifter. Back seat monitoring if you left anything or someone back there. The Sideview mirrors do heat up when you turn on the defrost which is a good safety measure. Blind spot monitoring is soo cool, turn your signal on to make a lane change and if anyone is in your blind spot you’ll know from the beeping and it will help you avoid moving into that lane too. What I love most is rear cross traffic collision avoidance if your backing up and can’t see if a person or vehicle is coming from either direction the alarm will go off and brake for you, same as for the Forward collision avoidance assist it will warn you if your about to plow into someone in front of you because of their sudden stop. All of these functions can be turned on or off. You also get wireless charging place for your phone. Of course if just want to plug into the available usb it will charge that way also with one usb in the back for passengers and a 60/40 split seat with an armrest with cup holders. The Soul is so practical with its cargo holding rear, private cover and load/space leveling floor with an LED light and 12V socket. Of course interior lighting is full LED . I did my homework before settling on the EX version. It would cost me at least 5000 more dollars for the 1.6 turbo of course it would’ve came with several other features that none of the other vehicles have but I’m where I want to be and it’s the most car for the money. It’s fun to drive, adjust the drivers power seat and lumbar support and the miles will fly by. My other car was bright silver this one is gravity grey with the 17” grey/gun metal sport rims, it really sets it off. I can’t say enough about my new ride other than I love it, I feel safe in it. And the warranty was the cherry on top!
