I've been Stung!

Only had the car for a few days, so I may be in that 'new driver euphoria stage', but this vehicle is simply amazing. The look and feel of a luxury sedan, with aggressive and sexy styling, too many bells-and-whistles to list, and performance that will definitely turn heads and take people by surprise. I am in car-driving nirvana like never before.

I wish I could give 5 stars

Giving it 4 stars is a gift. I'm having issues with vibration at highway speeds. Compounded by the fact that the dealership just keeps Re-balancing the wheels (poorly) and then saying they can't feel it. Ugh! I drive 50 miles one way to and from work so I spend a lot of time in the car. It's near perfect except the vibration. Love the car. As another review mentioned, it bothers me that I made such a big investment in a car that is marketed against German luxury and I'm stuck with Joe Walmart in the service department who seems to know very little about my car, failing to accomplish the small task of balancing my wheels properly. Frustrated is an understatement.

Luxury At It?s Finest

Oh my Gawd.... She rides so smooth. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on her, she was for me. I have the option to go into sport mode and show off a little, lol, but I mainly drive in ECO. Good on gas, very dependable, and SO SASSY. I love my car! GET YOU ONE, you?ll see :)

Unfortunately I bought a yellow one

As the title states, I bought a yellow stinger and for the few months I had it i love it and could have easily given it 5 stars. Then I found out about the recall on the paint (only affected the yellow stingers). No big deal at first, Kia was going to repaint it no charge. The car was sent to a body shop and I was provided a rental car by Kia (far from comparable but only temporary so I didn?t mind). It was then that my concerns about reliability came up. With no estimate given to me on how long the car would take to be repainted, I waited patiently for three weeks. Finally I called the body shop only to find out that pieces of the doors had broken due to them being flimsy. And on going for weeks now the car?s completion has been delayed due to flimsy parts breaking. I?m honestly not sure who is completely at fault, the body shop mishandling the car or Kia using cheap parts. I suspect a combination of both. Either way a simple paint job has now turned into genuine concerns about the reliability of the car. And when I contacted Kia with the concerns, their response was ?if you aren?t happy we?ll buy the car back from you? I sure feel like a valued customer.

This is the best care I have evr owned.

The seating is comfortable, it is fully loaded with everything imaginable. It is fast and responsive. Plenty of leg room and cargo area. I can't wait to drive it everyday!

Test drive it and fell in love!

I bought the GT1 trim about two weeks ago. I absolutely love this car! Style, power, luxury. If you can get past the badge, don?t hesitate, buy one. Brembo brakes also provide great stopping ability.

Great muscle car

Faster than many of the muscle cars of the 60-70's but up to date technology, more luxurious, and roomier. As good as most of the European performance sedans at a cheaper price. Handling is okay but could be better to match the Europeans. Electronic suspension for sport and normal would be an improvement. I plan to buy one.

Nice vehicle

Good size and performance, comfortable cabin, may be tight for bigger people. Gas mileage avg. 30. Back hatch is good size and the cover panel LSA removable to increase capacity

Very impressive GT from Kia!

My god! Where to start?! Exterior and interior styling is gorgeous, performance will not disappoint. Hugs corners like a pro, and acceleration is something that needs to be felt, because words give no justice to how well this car grabs the road and dominates! Entertainment package is well dressed, and also performs. The interior is well layed out with a quarky shifting mechanism, that takes a bit to get used to, but very simple. Audio is impeccable, and the sound sourrounds you as the bass swallows you up. Very impressed with kia and their engineers on this car, i look forward to future productions of this model! The bar has been set high.
