Trunk Mech & Sat Receiver

The auto trunk mechanism is a hit and miss on days. Cant rely on the using your hand over Lexus sensor to open the trunk. At times it takes 10 -20 seconds to open and 40-50% its a no go. Dealer gives excuses on how to use, yet their loaners act different as well. Sat radio receiver is terrible, my '04 Escalade is better. Thought technology would improve with time?

Driving a Tricked Our Couch

One of the most comfortable SUV's ever built. Loaded with tech and safety features, this SUV has a few shortcomings. Satellite radio display should include the ability to see songs currently being played on other channels and offer a download and/or favorite option. Regarding performance, the 8 speed automatic transmission acts a little quirky in normal mode. The transition between the first three gears feels awkward.

Meh...

There are multiple design flaws with this vehicle. From the drone hissing to the "stop braking power low" indicator that randomly doesn't allow the vehicle to start. Very disappointed in Lexus.

Love interior.

Love the interior of this Crossover and also that they moved the gear shift from the dashboard down to the console area. Always hated the gearshift on the dashboard of the RX. Had so many great features that make driving a pleasure or hauling - Lexus thought of everything. The tailgate is touch controlled with your hand and can be raised to much higher level if preferred. Seats lay down with ease. The console dash will hold large drinks. There is nothing I can think of that they missed interior wise. Exterior - I'm not crazy about at all. It has an aggressive grill that looks like a monster to me. The exterior back lines on the side of the vehicle do not appeal to me. The back of the vehicle looks great.

GAS MILEAGE IS LESS THAN EXPECTED

This vehicle is very responsive and fun to drive. I like all of the safety features. I intended to buy a hybrid and people encouraged me to get the RX 350 instead. The gas mileage is disappointing. I am averaging less than 20 mpg.

Shame on you Lexus!!!

I purchased the new RX350 without even test driving it because I have been a Lexus owner for almost 30 years and have always been happy with the brand for being the smoothest and quietest brand out there. Big mistake, when I drove the car home I immediately noticed the vibration and droning noises that you can feel in the steering wheel, pedals, floor board, seats. This is not the same Lexus that I and my family have know to love. I took the car back to the dealer to inform them of my issue with the car and the service manager said that this is a "normal characteristic of this vehicle." It's been over a year and Lexus still has no solution to this problem. Others with the newer 2017 model are also complaining about this issue.

Great Tech & Fun to Drive

Smooth comfortable drive, great tech features including Intelligent Shift Control helps to estimate whether you are traveling uphill or downhill and automatically provides the optimal engine response. Or you can shift manually for greater responsiveness and maneuverability.
