Great lilttle sports car
I have been driving this car for 2 years now. I have had zero issues. Its very fun to drive due to its power to wieght ratio (I have the GT version). It is a bit small, so if you have a family, may want to consider a bigger car. Great on gas, great standard features. Had no problems starting in -30C weather. Only bad thing I can say, is that you will need winter tires if you live in Canada, as the car is very light, and the stock tires aren't meant for snow or ice.

My first car
I love this car through and through. I couldnt ask for a better car with my price range. This is my first car and I wouldn't have it any other way. It reeaallyyy does what you ask it when you step on the gas and the exterior is "sharp".

Reliable Car
I bought this car when I was stationed in Guam. The gas mileage is phenomenal. A full tank would last me little over two weeks and the fact that I drive the car everyday to work total of 10 miles per day min. As far as comfort goes its pretty good and the handling is excellent. However the only thing Im not completely satisfied with is the acceleration. Its slow and a it sounds like its struggling. If you want a car thats good in gas, reliable, and handles good then this is for you. But if you're looking for "The Fast and the Furious", this car is the opposite.

best buy
i've had several types of cars and my Mazda 3 is by far the best car of all. Great handeling, clean design and a smooth ride. I have little ones in the back so leg room isnt an issue for them, I'll probably get a mazda 6 when they get older. Everybody that rides in my car loves it!

Not bad for the Price
I just purchased my 2007 Mazda3 Hatchback a week ago. It has 22K miles on it. The clutch is taking way at the end - I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that. The clutch is my only complaint - it feels too soft (not enough back pressure) and it takes at the very end of the pedal. The handling is very nice - the body doesn't roll around turns and the steering is very responsive. The sound is very good (though I didn't get the 6 disc changer) Ride quality is great - unless your the passenger in the car that sits behind me (very little rear leg room - but then again - I'm a big guy with the seat all the way back) I love the car - it's very stylish - it's not very fast - but the torque is plenty for highway passing.

Very happy with my Mazda3 Touring 5 door-White
First off this is one hot looking car! At first it appears a little off by design but the more I looked the more I liked the design-Color White pearl. I've been driving my Mazda 3 Touring 5 door for 3 months now and I'm very pleased at this point. I purchased the car in December 08 and got a terrific deal. I traded in my 05 Neon to the 5 door Touring and I'm ecstatic! Comfort: At first the drivers seat seemed a bit uncomfortable but after tweaking the steering wheel and the seat height etc, the seat fits like a glove. My front seat companion loves the comfort also. Performance: Horse Power is 151 because my car is a PZEV model, I loose 5 HP but it is a cleaner burning car. The car has pick up! It took time to get use to the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system, it feels strange that the car is making decisions based on conditions, but not I'm used to it. Moon/sun roof, fuel computer, MP3 player jack, a glove box you could fit a Thanksgiving turkey in! Fuel Mileage: I purchased the car in the winter and MPG was low, 19MPG city, but now that Spring is here MPG is definitely better, at least 22+MPG. I went from a Neon to a Mazda3 5 door and glad I made the decision. The Mazda dealership was awesome and ultra-professional. I was impressed.

Very reliable
I bought my used Mazda3 10 months ago.I drive mostly in the city, and Mazda is perfect 4-door city car.I had downgraded from Audi A6,and I'm happier with my Mazda than the great German luxury car! The only complaint I had was about the tires! I hit the curb(my fault completely!)and my tire went flat.Supposedly the tires it came with are manufactured only in Japan, and 3 tire companies didn't have one to match it,nor did the dealership! So I ended up buying 4 new ones that were slightly smaller in size! If I had known the tires are so "special", I would have ordered one just in case I get a flat when I bought the car! All in all, great car, has all I need and looks great, upkeep hasn't cost me an arm and a leg.My sister has Mazda3 2.3,she loves the car too! Noise? What noise?

Mazda 3
The Mazda 3 is a great summer vehicle. It is the kind of car that is exciting to drive. It has a punchy take off and a smooth drive. I am a mother of 2 and I love knowing that when I am driving in my little hatchback my kiddies are same and I can still zoom in and out off traffic like it's nobody's buisness. My only complaint is that the car is no good in the snow. The car is very light and because of the punchy take off when there is any sort of snow dusted over the roads it looses all traction. Overall- I love driving the Mazda as much as I can, (in the non-snow time)and I think it is my favorite car I have ever had.

Nice style but.....
I too have had a love/hate relationship with this car. It is very attractive inside and out but an earlier review mentioned trouble with tire wear and noise. The alignment on my new mazda 3 had a 1/2" toe in but did not find that out till the tires finally got down to the cords on the inside of the tire and went to a friend mechanic to find out why my new car was making all that noise and vibration. When I found out that my new car had an alignment problem, I called Mazda right away and they refused tire replacement or fixing the original problem. In addition to the tire/alignment problem, things have been falling off the car like leaves on trees. The coating on the 'chrome' part of the grill started to peel as did the emblem on the steering wheel. The molding on the passenger side on the front and back door came right off! Mazda did replace those items but put the molding on crooked. Oh and it needed the air compressor for the a/c replaced....already. I can't believe I am stuck with this till I can afford a new car.
