TRULY GREAT MB PRODUCT

I purchased a Glk350 new in 2011, picking it up in Germany on overseas delivery. I have purchased at least 30 new cars, domestic and foreign, during my 75 years and THIS has been by far the best. I believe MB bult the original with a very specific aim for a premium product, unlike some of the other small vehicles they produce. I still own the car and am reluctant to buy another vehicle because this one has been bulletproof. No squeaks or rattles. 100% reliable for the 85,000 miles driven, with only regular maintenance (and I have performed most of it including oil and filter changes and even spark plugs and igniters). Performed all regular maintenace as scheduled. Comfortable, reasonably quiet, very stable, handles well and fast for a small SUV. Opted for the HK sound system and it is VERY good. Beautiful audiophile sound, no bass ramp up or distortion. Paint is still immaculate even with Florida sun. Interior has held up well with the exception of a tear on the driver's seat for which an OE replacement cover is readily available online. Only possible criticisms: Back seat legroom is not great for large adults, otherwise adequate and comfortable; uses premium fuel and gets about 23 mpg ave for me, but I drive less than 10,000 miles a year, so no issue; and transmission fluid change which was changed on the original schedule to 40,000 miles was somewhat expensive, but I did get a $200 coupon which offset half of it. For a small SUV it handles great and seems built like a tank. Truly like a more modern but small G wagon.

A Perfect car for me.

Purchased the car in Germany overseas delivery in 2011 and have driven it continuously for 11 years. The most reliable, practical vehicle I have owned and that includes more than 30 cars and SUVS, foreign and domestic. Other than routine oil changes, which I do myself, and filter changes, I have found it necessary only to replace the tires and brakes (at 75,000 miles even though they had some material remaining), the serpentine belt and bulbs. It is a comfortable SUV in the front seat, but minimal for adults in the rear seat. Durable materials, upgraded HK stereo is great. When I look at other cars to replace this one, I cannot find anything better. Still looks and drives like new. VERY well built.

Had a lot of service.

Love the car. The design and comfort. The new ones not so much. To space ship looking inside. And too much computers. If they just too the C class. And made it into a SUV. Like a normal car should be inside. I would buy a new one. But will have to just drive this until I find the right one.

We bought, an assembled in China, lemon

Bought new 2011, Nothing but trouble from day I. Unexplained cabin pressure noise when windows slightly opened .Week 1 ,rear window exploded while parked.Headlights never lit the road properly .always needed high beems on until a friend figured out how to adjust the beem .numerous trips to the dealer didn’t fix the problem.Too many mechanical problems to list .Transmission replaced 2016 .rear springs replaced ,struts replaced ,coolant hose replaced .we have put to much money into it to get rid of it earlier .but this year it is gone .this had been our second Mercedes but it will be our last.Nothing but a money pit..We also own a 2011 Toyota Corolla and a 2014 Titan pickup which have not given us any grief .

My fabulous FIRST car!

I just recently got this car and I absolutely love it! It’s pretty decent on gas and everything in it works. I love that it’s a suv and it has all wheel drive. It snows in New England so that’s very important. It is also my first car. Over all great car! Absolutely love driving in style!

exelent vehicle for the money

This car drives amazing in all conditions. Quiet cabin and comfy. Price to maintain is cheap yet super reliable. Exterior styling is eceptional and fancy! Engine preforms as it should with a proper amount of power. Con would be gas mileage is low for a smaller engine.
