Most comfortable car I've owned

This car has one of the best Nav systems I've seen in a car, and the ride is awsome! Way more than I expected from a smaller SUV

Drives smoothly and lots of safety feature

This vehicle is comfortable to drive and is very stylish. There are many safety features to help with blind side and changing lanes.

Perfect vehicle for our needs!

My wife and I needed a small, luxury SUV to zip around town, not for off-roading or pulling a trailer or boat. There?s NOTHING I dislike about this car, except the ?eco? function which shuts the engine off after coming to a stop to save fuel. But it can be overridden by pushing a button, which I do every time I start the car. They stopped making this model in 2015 and replaced it with a more rounded version which makes it look like every other SUV. I purposefully wanted the more boxy look, like its more expensive siblings like the ML. The interior is very luxurious, lots of wood, soft-touch materials and very comfortable seats (even the MB Tex). Get the Premium 1 Package (double moonroof, electric trunk closer etc.), lane tracking package and as many extras as you can since some of the ?basic? models don?t come with those features. It handles like a car, gets about 20 mpg, has enough storage when you fold down the seats and feels rock solid. Overall, I could not recommend this car enough! New was $48,000 but I got it for $34,000 with only 16,000 miles. My wife, who is only 5 foot 3?, loves to drive it because it makes her feel safe and the car offers excellent visibility all around. Make sure you get the blind spot detection mirrors, not just the basic GLK. I also own a CLS 550 and I have to admit I really enjoy driving the GLK, even though they were designed with a different purpose.

Almost the Perfect SUV

I bought this as a CPO {certified pre-owned). I test drove the BMW X3 , Audi Q5 & Lexus RX 350. The 2 other German suv's had 2 liter 4 cylinder turbos & the Lexus had a 275 HP 6 cylinder. The GLK was by far the fastest , the X3 was the best handling , the Q5 had the most luxury interior and Lexus was the most common one you see at every corner. I chose the GLK for it's 302 HP 6 cylinder engine & smooth 7 speed transmission , great visibility , beautiful interior , great ride & handling and it's built like a tank . The only fault I found is the limited rear seating. Overall I'm very happy with it and I even prefer it over the new GLC which looks like all the other SUVs on the market with 4 cylinder turbos.

Mercedes Pulls through once again!

This car has been great to me for my current needs. This is my 7th Mercedes Benz that I've personally owned. I have driven many others that my family has owned. I obviously know the brand well, I even help broker some of these cars out for friends. I was really impressed with this small SUV. It has held couches of it's roof, held many things in the cargo area with or without the seats down. It has great technological aspects that make it very useful a work vehicle. Not only does it possess a very smooth ride for a SUV, but it does what most small utility vehicles don't. It has an automatic lift gate functional from multiple areas; these include the gate itself with a push button open/close button, from the driver side door, and from the key fob itself which allows for opening, closing and stopping. It is a 4matic which allows for superb handling. The park assist option is a MUST!!! Great back up camera which tell you how to navigate backwards to fit in those tight spots not visible via mirrors or neck wrenching twists and turns. The navigation system is great. She talks to you and reads your texts while driving to prevent distraction on the road, let alone tickets. Satellite radio is great, as well as cd, dvd, and a Bluetooth option to your phone so you can play what ever song your heart desires at that moment. Memory seating is for three with lumbar support on both front seats. Front and rear air controls. The panoramic roof opens up the vehicle from the inside and allows you to bring the whole world inside. It seems like a bigger vehicle because of it. It's a very peppy vehicle since it boasts a v6 3.5L engine. It is equipped with and eco setting that allows for shutting off the vehicle at stops which is great for gas mileage. It also has a sport setting allowing for a racing mode with higher rpm shifting and quicker pickup. (I hardly ever used it). Maintenance is close to non, other than regular oil changed (good for 10,000 miles with Mobil one) and front break pads so far. I have found this car super reliable for my work and pleasure driving. Great little SUV for the price.
