Major Improvement! Go ahead Altima 2007

Got a brand new 2007 Altima 2.5 S only 7 miles on it, I was its first real user. The exterior behind the B pillar is very exciting and catches your attention. You immediately see the touch of the Infiniti M35 back there. The front has changed very much and doesn't look like it should be connected to the back. The straight drive down the highway was very quiet compared to previous Altimas. But it was the acceleration with that 4 cylinder engine that blew me away. You had to be light on the gas pedal or else that car would run from you. The first thing I did when I got inside was touch the dashboard. Why? No more hard, cheap looking plastic that you find in the previous models. It has a richer and softer look. The dashboard is well laid out and there are look of places to store things. But the performance was really the outstanding feature. It tracked very well on curves and felt like it was tied to the road. Excellent vehicle!

Big Bang for the Buck

I own the 2.5 SL edition. I love this car. I has the feel of a luxury car without the luxury car price. Very smooth acceleration, outstanding handling, and a look that turns heads. I have earlier Altima owners turning there heads looking at the new changes. Great car!!!

Sexy Car with Muscular Style

The vehicles style is what attracted me the most. Having 270 hp which is better than every other vehicle in its segment. I did my homework and test drove all the cars in the segment and by FAR, BY FAR, the most enjoyable drive of all. Bose system speaks for itself with 9 speakers and my salesman pointed all them out to me :) XM Traffic comes standard with the Navagation package and this is the only vehicle in a non luxury class to offer it. Touch screen Navigation by the way LOVE IT! The CVT Transmission is another great selling feature going up hills and shifting with the 6speed tip-tronic with the CVT is perfect. Little to no torque steer, they really did everything right with this model. 350z inspired dash a little bit and having the same award winning VQ series engine "12 years staright on Wards 10 best engines list and only engine to do so". Overall best car i've ever owned and I have owned nearly 20+ vehicles in my life. I'm keeping this one.

Crazy to Buy Camry

The 2.5SL is a great vehicle. Just got mine last week. The 175 HP I-4 is sooo much faster than the Camry I test drove and also the numbers do not do the engine justice. The intelligent key system is great. Overall, love the vehicle!

This car is great!

I bought this car last week (Nov. 2nd), and I can't help but sing it's praises. I have been chatting all weekend with a couple of other new owners about all the great features. I bought the 3.5SL model fully loaded, so there isn't much that mine doesn't have. The navigation system is wonderful, it is very up to date, but it is a DVD based system, so you do have to upgrade those occasionally. The CVT has a great feel to it, and it is something that you begin to wonder how you did without. All of the accents in this model a substantially improved over the last generation, from the quality of the leather, to the dash, which is less hard plastic, more grained rubber... It has some really great little features, like a glove box and a center console that you could almost sleep in, two cigarette adapters, intelligent key, HIDs, GPS, XM Radio, the list goes on and on. There are only a couple of draw backs: The gas and brakes are a little touchy. Some of the prompts on the Nav. System stay up longer than I would like. The Intelligent key can put the front windows down, but you have to start the car (all the way on, not Accessory mode) to put the windows back up, or to close the sunroof. But other than those few things, this car is pretty much perfect.
