An Excellent Bridge
Having just relinquished ownership of a much cherished 2000 Maxima in order to move to the 2007 Versa, I have to say that the Versa serves as an excellent bridge for one moving from a larger performance sedan to a smaller more fuel efficient, yet still comfortable, vehicle. The Versa has a "Euro" feel overall. The interior is surprisingly quiet at speed and positively spacious, giving driver and passengers the sense of being in a much bigger car. Hatch and fold down rear seats lend good practicality. Seats are very comfortable with leg room in the front and rear approximating that of the Maxima. For me, the SL level brought with it nearly all of the features I wanted--upgraded six speaker stereo with CD changer and aux jack, cruise control, power windows, locks etc. with keyless entry, durable and attractive looking seat fabric, excellent safety features. The 1.8L 4 and CVT are a smooth match with good torque throughout, allowing highway cruising at very low RPM. Handling is very good with only a little plowing effect in sharp turns. Brakes are good, but would have liked ABS included. At about US$16.5k (including delivery), SL is very good value for money. Highly recommended! Fun car to drive. In fact, I don't miss the Max at all!

Huge Honda fan bought a Versa
I'm a life-long Honda nut, and with gas prices very much affecting my 110mile daily commute, I made up my mind to sell my V6 Accord and get a small car. I looked at both the Fit and Yaris when they came out and was close to purchasing the Fit. But I wanted to wait and see the Versa first. Boy am I glad I did!! There is almost a night and day interior difference between the Versa and competitors. Material quality is much higher, fit and finish are excellent, very comfortable on the road, and some really cool features, all at the same price point as the Fit, made my purchase a no-brainer. The CVT transmission is so smooth, and the engine gives it so much power, that I'm really not missing the V6 of my Accord!

Awsome Car
I just got out of a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire. And needless to say the Versa blows away that car. My wife and I both traded cars that day she got the 2006 Altima and I GOT THE VERSA!! which I like driven better then the Altima. She now wishes she had gotten a Versa. It is a great new car. I can't wait til the sport package comes out because I know I will be adding that to my car. This is the first Nissan that I have ever owned. And I have to say Nissan you have one me over. Go Nissan!!!! Lance

Driving this car around for 3 weeks now.
And I must say that I am very happy with my purchase. Car has some very nice features including Bluetooth package and MP3 Audio jack and 6CD in dash changer with capabilities to play CDs burned in MP3 format; you can burn over 110 music files per CD so its like having a mini juke box in your car with over 650+ music tracks. Blutooth works great I have paired both Motorola RAZR and Motorola V195 to the car and it works flawless. And setting up Bluetooth was a breeze.. within minutes I was able to place my first call... best thing is if you know the number you can dial it using voice dial feature built in to this car. Brakes are great and the feel to it is just right... not too soft of a pedal. Driving around town and parking car in tight spot such as Chicago downtown and uptown area didnt seem to be a problem. Its a great car if you have couple of kids and you live in city. And Gas being in Chicago hovering right around $3.25 a gallon I am glad I choose a more fuel efficient car. Although its rated at 36 Miles a gallon I am getting right around 32 miles a gallon on average .. which is not bad considering I am using A/C a little bit. CVT transmission is smooth and is very well balanced to the 120HP engine; feels quite peppy. Whats nice about the Bluetooth package is you cant lock your Keys inside the car .. if you leave your keys inside the car doors wont lock (doors will shut but will not lock). And not to mention that as long as you have the Smart / Bluetooth key in your pocket you can unlock the door and start your car without needing to remove keys from your pocket... over all an excellent feature rich car for its price. Oh and same goes when you like to make a phone call ... your phone can be in your pocket or purse and using the button provided on steering wheel you can dial a number without even taking the phone out ... as a matter of fact you can leave the phone in your briefcase in trunk and still be able to make a call. Bluetooth works quite well. Sound system is quite decent .. I dont have the upgraded speakers but the ones that comes factory installed are quite decent and sounds great. All in all its a great car to have to get you around town.
