2019 RAM 1500 Classic consumer reviews

Bought a special edition Warlock Ram 1500 classic after driving a rental SLT 1500 and didn't want to turn back in needless to say I bought one a month later ha ha. I cant say enough how much I am impressed with this truck ride quality, uconnect sound system and the looks this is a head turner. Initial quality was very good no fit ,finish or mechanical issues, huge change from the bad experiences I had in the 90's with Chrysler/Dodge products (I swore at the time I'd never buy another Dodge). Think RAM has a customer for life now.

This truck is not a new comer to the scene. The 4th Gen DS platform is a decade old. There is a reason Ram decided to continue selling it in the lineup with the newly released model in 2019. It keeps selling due to value. Comfort is stellar with the Big Horn option I have. Ride is very quiet and I dont forsee any discomfort taking a long trip with full occupants. Lower trim level lack seat height adjustment. My wife could not comfortably drive it. Going with Big Horn remedied that. Crew cab back seats are more comfortable then my GMC Yukons 2nd row. Interior is a bit dated compared to new release Ram and competitors. Liberal use of plastic. Newer ram interiors look much more high end. The 8.4 Uconnect makes up for it. Intuitive and easy to operate. The Hemi 5.7 is a dated but tested and reliable power train that is matched with the 8 speed auto. I get 16 to 18 in City and 21 to 22 Highway. 3.21 gears give good towing capacity. Looks are subjective. It looks great. It holds it's own. This truck meets my needs and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable do it all truck for a great price.

I purchased this vehicle about a week ago and I am currently in love with it. I got the V6 Pentastar and I cant complain. Currently getting 21mpg or 11.2 litres per 100kms. I have the quad cab, not sure if there is enough room in the back for adults but my dog loves it. I just wish the interior had softer surfaces instead of the hard plastic that it does have. The seats are by far the comfier vehicle seat I have been in. The exterior of this truck is very appealing with the black badging and sport appearance hood. Android auto is a very nice feature since it gives the full functionality of the higher trim level uconnect system on a lower trim truck. I do not, as of yet, regret purchasing this truck.

Drives like a beauty! I love all of the interior tech features too. Also, there is a lot of leg room in the back. We are so happy we got this truck!

This vehicle performs how a truck should and has all the bells and whistles of luxury. Best truck I've owned yet! Love my ram 1500!

The ride is smooth and comfortable. Barely feel any bumps. Interior is quiet and its truly a pleasure to drive. The hemi is an extremely powerful engine with 18 mpg if you don't push it too hard. Although its hard not to. Love my 19 ram bighorn.

I used to drive a ford f-150 for more than 14 years at first I wanted to get another F150 to replace my aging 2009 F150 but lo and behold I test driven and RAM it was not love at first sight but I really enjoy the comfort and the ride so I decided to take the leap of faith of giving the RAM a try since then I have not look back the more I drive the RAM the more I am really happy with my purchase

The Ram is everything I wanted and could hope for. It has plenty of space, power and technology. It is extremely comfortable and rides extremely nice.

This truck takes care of all of our needs. It assists with any loads I have, as well as offering so many creature comforts, we feel spoiled, and we like it! It looks awesome, has plenty of power, provides a luxurious ride and handles much better than expected. Allowing 5 adults to ride in such enormous space, makes the RAM a total winner.
