2019 Subaru Forester consumer reviews

We bought the base model so that all the gauges and trim would be black. With that being said, the base model is PACKED with luxury features galore! Drives great, and everything is as we expected.

I am amazed by all of the new technology available in the Forester. I am also pleased by all of the safety equipment installed, i.e. eyesight system, lane departure, adaptive cruise control, etc.

Nicest car I’ve ever driven. Steering very tight, brakes responsive. Holds the road nicely. Has collision avoidance systems such as eyesight, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, lane excursion warning. Good senior car. Does not have rear collision warning sensing which is a surprise with all the other systems in place. Very good headroom, big back seat. Headlights excellent, feel sorry for oncoming traffic but only have gotten flashed once so maybe ok. Engine peppy and transmission very smooth. Has auto stop/start on engine and this is a pia! This feature can be disabled but you need to do this every time you start the car. Just have about 300 miles on the car but really like it so far.

reliable, reasonable price. good looking. friends all drive this kind of car too. We shopped around and found this one is the best deal. We will consider buy our next car as subaru.

This car met my wife's wish list. It is AWD, comfortable and has all the amenities that she wanted. It has areal solid feel when on the road. It is also nicely styled.

The new Forester is a great car-the ride and vision stand out in particular. We got the Ultimate with all the bells and whistles. The electronics take a little time to understand, but gives you a lot more features. Maybe it doesn't do 0-60 under six seconds, but will pass any Beemer after a snow storm! The CVT tranny is a little noisy , but the mileage is very good. We sold the wife's 2009 Forester to the first caller and got what we were asking. Best resale value of any manufacturer. So if you want great car for any kind of weather, go anyplace, and is very reliable, this is a good choice.

I have never purchased a new car before but after test driving a forester , I decided the time has come to go home with a brand new car and I know that I am going to love this car like a part of my family .

The handling is very good. Still learning to use features since I was using a 2004 Subaru Forester. Really like the headlight, lane departure and blind spot features. The back up camera feature I need to learn to trust. A friend that has a hummer drove the Subaru and really liked how it handled.

So far the vehicle is fantastic to drive. It’s raining here and when I hit a puddle the car handled amazingly. The car didn’t try to go to the next line. AWD is fabulous

I have previously owned a 2010 and a 2027 Forester. Both were great cars. This 2019 is the best! Improved ride, interior and seating, and Sport Trim is great.
