Sti guy

This is my 4 STi. I love the cars, but Subaru needs to step up and offer more power for the coat. It should have 350-400 not 305. I hope they step it up.

Often Imitated , never duplicated !!

This is the 2nd STI I have owned. 2005 and now the 2011. Just reading the review from the guy that didnt give it all 5's. All I can say is Really ? ? ? But Subaru has def out done themselves. The STI never disappoints. From turning heads everywhere you go, to just the pure adrenaline rush of doing 80 in 4th gear. This car is functional and practical. Just watch the urge to race every punk kid that is in a TDI. Trust me they are out there, and they have the need to see your tailights.

Fun Car

I have a 2008 and not a 2011. Cars.com only has the option for an 11. I just got this car about a month ago so I cannot really comment on the reliability yet, but so far so good. The car itself is a blast to to drive. I have a a family of four and it fits them fine. My kids are 6 and 2 1/2 and they fit well in the back. I imagine as they get older they will be a bit cramped behind the drivers seat. I am 6-2 and I don't put the seat all the way to the back, but it's close. My biggest surprise is how comfortable the driver's seat it. It really feels good even on long drives. The car handles great and it's stupid fast. So fast in fact that I find myself actually driving slower than my previous Mazda 3 because frankly I have nothing to prove. I know I can beat almost anything on the road so why bother. When I need to go then I do. Another plus is that this car has all the get up and go that you need; however if you are in a situation where you have to drive "normally" you do not feel punished for it. A lot of cars of this ilk feel uncomfortable and whine at slow speeds. I never feel that way in this STI. I took it to the mountains in Colorado and it had no trouble climbing. It hugs curvy roads. The car is a little light on amenities (which may have been fixed in 2011). I don't have the option for heated seats, sunroof etc, but if you want that buy a BMW. Buy the STI for a fun to drive car that is fast. Gas mileage could be better, but again if you are worried about gas mileage then this is not the car for you.
