WOW
I never considered the SUBARU until I test drove the 2010 Legacy. I purchased the Premium with CVT transmission. Things I love about the Legacy: 1. Fun to drive - handles with pinpoint accuracy, 4wd is perfect, easy to get in/out of parking spaces, good vision, few blind spots. 2. CVT transmission - love this. It always gives you the right power when you need it. 3. Excellent gas mileage - averaging 24/32 4. 8 cup holders - need I say more?

Grand Slam
I have the 2010 Legacy GT Limited. It has the turbo 2.5 coupled with a 6-speed stick - the only combination available in the GT. It's more than enough power to have some fun, with great mileage, outstanding comfort and room, unique yet appealing styling, and quality that is on par with or better than the more expensive brands. It is surprisingly quiet and smooth as well. The quality of the materials, the attention to detail, and the solid construction amount to a well-thought out and beautifully executed automobile. I have read a couple of reviews by "experts" who like the Legacy but did not rave about it. I don't know what they are looking for or what they expect, or maybe they need to drive the GT, but as someone who drives one everyday I insist that Subaru has hit a homerun with the bases loaded with this car. If you've never considered a Subaru and you habitually head to the Toyota or Honda dealer, you are really missing out. This car rocks.

Excellent Value
I bought 2.5i Limited model new. It handles very well and cornering is precise and responsive. It looks great and is fun to drive. The Harmon Kardon sound system is exellent. In my opinion, the interior layout and the materials are fine and not tacky as suggested by the expert. The ride is comfortable and quiet. There is plenty of passenger room. The 2.5i 4 cylinder transmission provides plenty of power for city driving. Transmission shifts are smooth and efficient. My only complaint is that the front passenger seat bottom cannot be adjusted vertically. The steering position is comfortable and just right for me.

Perfect Fit
I drove four other mid-size sedans before buying a 2010 Legacy 2.5i with the new CVT transmission. The car has adequate acceleration but is not a "hot rod". The interior and trunk are very large for a mid-size. The sound level for road noise is excellant. The AWD ride is smooth and it corners with little sway. The real bonus is the gas mileage with the CVT transmission, i am getting 32.8 average in Colorado with all driving above 5000 ft. I like the cockpit layout and the Harmon Karden stereo has superb sound quality. I know that when the snow flies this winter it will handle well-it is a Subaru. I am very happy with the whole package.

2010 Legacy 2.5i CVT
Wow, what a great vehicle. I've owned it for a week now and no complaints. The CVT transmission is so smooth and the addition of a "sixth gear" really helps the fuel economy while on the highway. Averaged about 26-27 in the city with AC; About 29-30 with AC on the highway. Haven't had a chance to try trips without AC yet. The basic 4 speaker sound system is actually quite impressive. Good low end and mid's; a little lacking in the higher range, but you can purchase the tweeter kit and be set. Seats are very comfortable, and for being 6'3" I can have the seat all the way back and extend my legs completely and not feel crammed. Large trunk space and roomy feel in the cabin. So far I'm in love with this car; looking forward to driving this car for many miles to come. Bring on those snowy winters!
