We even LIVED in the 4Runner!
My son purchased this vehicle used in 2013. It was driven from New Orleans to southwest Washington state. My husband, myself and our 6 dogs (from a 2.5lb chihuahua to a small stature 45lb. German Shepherd lived in it for nearly 2.5 months. This model has a 110 power plug in the center console. We used it often while homeless to power an electric blanket. This vehicle is very spacious, rides and handles well. The one ?downfall? came about while we lived in it. Due to the condensation created by my husband, myself and the dogs it ?got into? the stereo which makes it work intermittently now.

I love my 4Runner
This car has met all of my driving needs for 18 years. Bought it new. Has averaged 19.9 mpg. City &hwy combined. Reliable workhorse. It?s cost about $1200 a year in preventive maintenance to keep it in top condition, not including tires.

Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned!
As most loyal Toyota owners know Toyota vehicles are trouble free vehicles that are very dependable and hold their value better than most due to their reputation of reliability. I have owned several Tacoma's and 4 Runners and have had excellent service out of them and have sold them easily with my phone ringing off the hook every day until sold! All we buy anymore! Off Road capabilities are also second to none with the best running gears you can get in a off road vehicle. not the best gas milege but very rugged and durable!

The Energizer Bunny of SUVs
Purchased used in 2004 w/62K miles. I-4 motor, base vehicle. Nothing fancy about it, very utilitarian, but it's a great all rounder and amazingly dependable. The cloth seats are still in good shape and comfortable on 600 mile drives. Just under 420K miles at the moment and it's still my daily driver. Vehicle is very sturdy and you feel safe in it. Front passenger side impact @ ~ 45mph ~13 years ago and damage was minimal (fender/bumper). Visibility is great with all the windows and handling is excellent for such a tall vehicle. The A/C works very quickly cooling/heating the large cabin quickly. Basic maintenance items up to this point. Incredible value for the money spent! Some things that it doesn't excel at: Racing (150hp new for vehicle this heavy isn't practical). Towing heavy trailers (light trailer and a couple of motorcycles is the most I'd recommend).

Great family car
This car is great for transporting friends, family, and all their belongings. The spacious trunk area is great for large items, like camping gear, luggage, or daily things like groceries or beach towels. This car rides just like a truck, so you do hear the road when driving. However, the leather interior and wood finishing makes the car interior luxurious. I will miss the space I had in this car when I sell it.

Ridiculously reliable
230K miles and the only major repair we've ever had to perform was to replace the water pump (around 150K miles) and some of the gaskets have started to allow oil to leak. This car has paid for itself a couple times now.

Best car I ever Owned
This car was a part of my family for 17 years. It was serviced regularly and well taken care of, it had 450,000 miles on it and was still running beautifully with no issues at all. It's build saved my life, I hit a patch of ice on the road and lost control of the car, I rolled 4 times off a hill and hit a tree, because of how safe this car is I walked out of that accident with only bruises, nothing broken, not even bleeding. If I had not crashed I would still have that car today.
