Perfect Vehicle with no said issues and 230k miles

Perfect car. 2006 v6 on 33 inch wheels with no tune for those wheels and it runs like a dream. 230k miles with mostly highway miles and she purrs like it’s off the lot. It’s fast for being a fourrunner with jeep wheels and even outperforms my friends jeep with the same spec. Ultimate stock off-roader and will get you everywhere

Love this 2006 4Runner SR5!

Love it! Best SUV/truck I owned! It drives smooth yet it's a big SUV off roader! I got the 2 wheel drive because I don't do any off roading. This SUV/truck is a family vehicle but also really fun to drive!

Great SUV

Bought the 4 Runner at 142k on her and was 13 years old. I use it to haul my 19’ runabout boat from the camper and to the boat ramps, no issues. She is great in the northern Ohio snow belt area where I live with the all wheel drive and V8, what’s not to like except 17.2 mpg average. The weakest link on this vehicle is the rust issues on the frame and the timing belt that has to be changed at 100k.

Best vehicle I've ever owned!

Bought 2006 Limited in 2010. Now have over 260,000 miles with no major problems! Love this SUV! Will keep because I hate the 5th gen. 4runners . . . Toyota ruined them with the new design!

MOST RELIABLE SUV - 14 years running

TOTALLY reliable in it's 14 years with me; It was maintained by Toyota for 8 years b4 utilizing a local mechanic skilled in Toyota & Honda repairs. It has been meticulously maintained. Just now started seeing some paint peeling - but she still looks good!!!! My only concern now is a 'noise ?' at low speeds yet minimized somewhat at greater speeds. I'm gonna get it checked out but on this website noticed there may be a couple of RECALLS I will need to contact Toyota phone numbers provided to see if my vehicle needs to be serviced for them. Recently, purchased a 2018 Lexus 350 F Sport - but still keeping my 4Runner 4Ever - especially since it only has 86,000 miles on it!

Vehicle is over price

This used vehicle is being priced over value. All used 4Runner come with extremely high mileage. Dealers are marking the price up to generate profit. I tested a vehicle where the frame had started to rust. The dealer painted the under carriage to make it look like some type of protective cover was on the frame. So buyers make sure you actually check the frames for rust

This is the best car I have ever owned so far.

This car was on of my successful choices. I made search for about seven months and I cam to occlusion that the 4 runner would be the best car for me because wherever you put it will serve. really reliable SUV.

This 2006 4Runner is the best vehicle ever

I currently own this car in July of 2020. I have owned and driven dozens of automobiles, both personal and fleet for over 50 years. For function, comfort, reliability, looks and resale, this vehicle cannot be beat. I have spent only about $5,000 on this 4Runner, including everything but gasoline, over 15 years. This is less than $400 per year for oil, filters, batteries, tires, brakes, struts, timing belt, water pump, fluids, everything. This 4Runner looks, rides and performs better than brand new. After 15 years, the paint is still pristine. Even with a V-8, I get 20 mph in the city and better than that on the road. I will never sell this car, and undoubtedly it will outlive me.
