One tough SUV

Did a lot of research on buying a family SUV but didn't want a cheesy looking "crossover ". This was the toughest most dependable I could find in my budget .

This is my second 4 Runner, love it.

I had a 2007 Toyota 4 Runner and loved it, very reliable. I drove it everyday to work, round trip 80 miles. This is why I bought another 4 Runner. I had leather seats in my 2007 and I am getting leather put in the 4 Runner I just bought.

2016 TOYOTA 4 RUNNER Premium

Just turned over one thousand miles . A very comfortable vehicle ride . Very roomy interior . This vehicle comes standard with most items . Only a few options needed . The V6 270 HP has ample power . So far well satisfied with this vehicle . The negatives are the tires and no locking gas door or cap . This 4 Runner has Dunlap tires , Traction B , Temp B and a medium treadwear . It appears Toyota no longer places PREMIUM tires on their vehicles .

MtnSnow

Had a 2004, best ever, ever... 2016, can't get V8, V6 doesn't cut it and shows on hills and pulling. Interior design? Big downgrade. 4wheel shift (used now and then) down on the center console from dash? Window/lock controls moved from below on door to top of armrest on door? Doesn't it fair where you are? But what do I know, I'm just the consumer?

Toyota 4 Runner

I have had a BMW SUV, it let me down; A Jeep SUV, it let me down; then I started with a Toyota 4 Runner about 20 years ago and that is the brand of car that I have used after being let down by others. The 4 Runner is my most dependable, reliable and functional car I have ever used, and it has never let me down!!!

Number 4 .. for me

This is my 4th. Did a brief try with a Honda CRV.. but couldn't transition. Love this truck- never going to switch again, they just keep improving on the ride and comfort.

Toyota 4 runner limited

Worst car I have ever owned! Looks pretty and shiny but I might as well own a Honda Civic. I bought the model with the third row thinking it would fit family and friends.... wrong. This car seats 4 comfortably/normal 7 squinched/uncomfortable. The nav screen just randomly turns off for no reason. Impossible to use on a trip for direction. Have a boat. Can't tow with this car... horrible tow capacity. The turn radius is a joke. I can't even make a proper u-turn without taking the most rediculos wide turn. Thank goodness this is a lease. Can't wait to be done with this car.

Everything I could want and need.

Bought this truck the day of a huge snow storm. Didn't even have to bust it into 4wd. On the other hand the girlfriend had issues with her Subaru in the same storm. The features, the space, the comfort. It is a better jeep. And that is what I needed it for. Will never break down on you, leave you in the middle of nowhere, always starts. Have had a Toyota before besides the water pump, I never had any weird maintenance issues like with my Ford. Also I travel all over the country for beer festivals and sales calls. This beast handles it all, and uses regular gas too!

Best Rugged and Stylish SUV Available

I've owned 2 Rav 4's and a 2015 Highlander Limited. These vehicles are great for in town and occasional moderate off road trips but I needed a SUV to navigate the road to our cabin in rain and snow. Traded the Highlander for a 2016 SR5 Premium and noticed less fuel economy, (no big deal),stiffer ride, not as many bells and whistles, but love the overall features, controls, and off-road performance. I hope Toyota continues to produce this vehicle design as well as their cross-over models for in town use. The SR5 is the best SUV I've owned.
