2021 Toyota 4Runner consumer reviews

These SUVs have the best window visibility compared to others I test drove. Inside and out - not super fancy with clean lines. Reliability is awesome. My only ask would be the remote start feature avail on all models.

This is the 2nd 4Runner I've owned over the past 20 years (still drive my 1997) and I am disappointed in the quality of work that goes into it. Interior is what an American car company would make! All cheep plastic and infotainment system is too bright to leave on at night even with the screen turned all the way down. Luckily there is a screen off function. They are relying on old proven technology and next to zero refinement. The FOB for the truck says it all. I've gotten better from a crackerjack box toy! I just hope the reliability is still there and that they fixed the frame rot issues with older Toyotas since that is the ONLY reason I am upgrading from my 1997 4Runner. Headlights are "okay" but for a 2021 it should have directional drive headlights like Audi, back up camera should also beep once too close to a object. Not just show you with lines. It would not take much to bring this over priced truck up to todays standards. Shame on Toyota for loosing there dignity in quality workmanship.

The car has all the features I required and more. Will take me quite a while to learn all the computer screen capabilities! But have plenty of time for that.

This car met all my needs. It has plenty of leg room in the front and back. It’s big enough for my whole family. It’s a great suv!
