Best car ever

My 2000 Toyota Avalon with 220,000 miles amazes me. I can count on three fingers the times it has needed any work done. I joke it outlive me, but now no longer a joke.

Best Car We Have Ever Owned

We have had our 2000 XLS since 2000 it is by far the best vehicle we have ever owned. I estimate I have spent about $12K in maintenance and repairs on it over the years. That’s including having it repainted a few years ago. This car still runs like new and after installing a new stereo head unit with navigation and backup camera we couldn’t be happier with this car. We always repaired small issues and did required maintenance and she has never let us down. Recently I fitted her with some nice 18”s even upgraded all the lighting to leds. We hope to have her in the family for at least another 8-10 years.

Great test drive in Jamaica

I test drove a 2000 toyota avalon in Jamaica with less than 100,000 miles and found the car driving like a brand new vehicle. I have owned toyotas before but this one "took the cake". I am intrigued by the features of the 20 year-old luxury car. The car has never been in an accident with just a few cracks on leather seats and burnt paint work as is expected. I will purchase it next week and know I will have great performance and comfort for years to come. Your reviews have helped me to make the right choice.

Most reliable car I have ever owned

I love this car! It is amazingly dependable, inexpensive to run and maintain, and lots of room in passenger compartment and trunk. Couldn’t be happier.

Great used car

I bought this 20 y/o car with 111000 miles on it. The interior is in great shape. The exterior has some dings and small pits. It’s a black car and I bought it in the rain so there you go. I had to replace the radiator and change the oil. The previous owner had 6 quarts of oil in it so I kept smelling oil. My mechanic told me it probably needs a valve cover gasket replacement which is very common with these car. Since I put the correct amount of oil in it I haven’t had any issues. This is my first Toyota and I like it. I will argue all day that it drives and rides as nice as the Lincolns and Buicks that I’ve owned that’s just not true it rides nice and drives nice but definitely not as comfortable. The reliability however is far superior.

Quality and service after the sale

Very clean low mileage vehicle. The car runs very smooth and is quiet. It is one of the best used cars I have ever owned. The service after the sale is amazing as well.

Love my Avalon. Just disappointed at the recalls.

I purchased this car used in 2016. Only two owners. It has been awesome getting around in the Alaska snow. Its been very reliable until recently and our Toyota dealership in Anchorage, AK, over charges and breaks more things so you have to come back and get more repairs. They want me to get my child restraint for car seats fixed because of a recall...yet I cant find anywhere that mentions that recall. I did find recalls for the problems I am experiencing now, such as catalytic converter and rear end saftey. Its disappointing I dont have a local dealership I can trust.

The absolute best car I have ever owned!

My 2000 Toyota Avalon XLS has kept me alive and well for 18 years and it will be hard giving "her" up. In my opinion this was the best car Toyota ever made. It has everything to make driving your dream experience...from the very comfortable leather seats to the quad front factory sun visors (only in the 2000). The interior is the most quiet of any vehicle I have ever driven too. Drive-ability is smooth and the power is there when you need it. In addition, when your new car stalls out on a cold winter day, this Avalon would start up on the first shot as reliability is there all the way. I was hoping to get a new car sooner but this car had everything we wanted and more. My husband pried me away from this car and gave me his as I have been very attached to this car. No new car can compare to the comfort, reliability, huge trunk space and low insurance premiums that this car has given me. Hoping to find a loving home for this baby.
