This car was stylish , comfortable , performed well, reliable , low maintenance, and best overall vehicle I have ever owned.

Avalon XLS -- Great ride. Reliable. I'm 65, my wife is 68. Two Avalons I passed along to my daughter at 250,000 miles. She kept driving and driving them. Nothing besides maintenance. Great back seat room for my tall family. We haven't tried the back seat reclining seats yet on a trip because we sit in the front. Heated seats allow my wife to spend hours in the car, even though she's had back surgery. Great leather seats with adjustments and lumbar support. Great mileage -- 27-30 on the highway. Wonderful sound system. If I had the money to choose any car, I suspect I'd choose the Avalon. Last year we made trips to Alberta Canada, Nova Scotia Canada, South Padre Island TX, Quantico VA, Key West FL plus any number of trips to Michigan, Indianapolis, Minnesota, South Dakota, Colorado, Kansas, etc, to visit our 8 married children and 22 grandchildren. We've driven to CA and all the way up the coast from San Diego CA to Seattle, WA. We're semi-retired with a fair bit of time. I wish the Avalon's back seats would fold down to carry some larger pieces of material now and again, but the trunk is spacious. We can carry a lot more with my Avalon than in my wife's SUV, Toyota Highlander. Some nice storage compartments in the doors and cabin. Our 2007 XLS no longer has a compartment in the center console, or in the back seat armrest. Our 2004 Avalons had an alternating current plug which was great, as well as a larger compartment in the door plus a second door compartment. Our 2001 Avalon had an extender on the visor which was great, and our 1997 Avalon had two visors which was really great!! You could use one for the side window and one for the windshield. And I could use the shorter one for the windshield because the regular one was kind of low for my height. I am disappointed that these features were removed. The 2007 Avalon no longer displays mileage as you're going, only the average between refills. An earlier model allowed us to reset the average so you could see what you're really doing on the highway, without the city drives and wait times. Haven't had that since our 2001.

Very smooth and exceptionally quiet. Mileage approx. 24 city and 30 highway. All service has been done by a local Toyota dealer. This is one of the best cars that I have owned. This car must be seen to appreciate.

It's reliable,comfortable,economical and affordable .i have owned other Avalon so I know they are first class transportation

Bought my 07 Avalon with 28k miles in Dec. 2008. Had it for 9 years now. Can't buy a better car for the money. Now with 109k only had to replace one caliper. The car is fast. Because of the high first gear it can be a little too much on slippery roads in winter time; small trade off for the speed and everything else is great. Gas mileage incredible at 32 highway at times.

We are enjoying the performance and comfort, gas mileage. We are the third owner of this Avalon. It has extremely low mileage.

This car has been so reliable and comfortable. Plenty of room in the back seat for carseats. Just an all around great vehicle.

This car is amazing!! It's a 2007, but it is immaculate. It has all the bells and whistles that we wanted, Navigation system, Leather seats, Power EVERYTHING!! It rides smooth, has get up and go, looks stylish; an all around great car!! We love our car!

My car was only just purchased used and i have only driven it a few miles so it is really difficult to do much in the way of rating the vehicle.

I am the second owner, and it's an amazing car. Very reliable and clean. The car runs very smoothly.
