2002 Toyota Camry consumer reviews

Not only are Toyota's know for lasting forever but the way it drives is amazing. It doesn't matter what year a Toyota Camry is, my father in law is in the car business and I have driven many different cars and honestly never thought a Camry was a car I'd want until I drove one. Smooth drive, comfort beyond belief, great on gas, and the engines are so solid. You take car of it and I promise it will take care of you.

I bought this car in 2013. in the uk this 2.4 auto is badged as a CDX. BHP in uk is 150 in USA I understand is 157. has 48k on the clock and has never let me down apart from the battery which was from new in 2002 i was told. MPG here is about 26 as I live west of london and traffic in heavy at times.this is my 2nd camry and again no major problems, ride is good pick up on auto box is brisk rather than quick. a underestimated car here built 2001-4 in derby,derbyshire. rare in uk this car is my baby lexis.

Toyota makes the best cars. This was the best reliable cars. My grandfather has always recommended me to only buy Toyotas.

The Car is good on performance. Comfortable and reliable. Also its a good values for the money invested.

This car was has everything I need and is very dependable . Has a full size spare and cassette system which the newer cars don't have plus navigation. No rust and serviced by the dealer every 5,000 miles with no issues. Car should last many more miles if properly maintained.

I have had this car since I was a freshman in college. That was quite a few years ago now. I have 228k miles on it as we speak and I have never been stranded in the car. It has never not started. It is a 2002 with the original alternator and AC compressor fully functional. The only electrical part I have changed is the starter.

The 2002 Camry has been wonderful to own. Gas mileage has been around 28mpg when driving conservatively. The major needs have been tires, breaks, oil changes and transmission/ coolant flushes per factory recommended intervals. The factory chromed wheels needed to be replaced as they were flaking. While the wheels were ground down of the excessive chrome, they still leaked. The air still blows cold after 15 years, however the compressor will shut off when used continuously on humid days after a couple of hours. I'm 5' 10" and the leg room in the drivers seat is bothersome while sitting in stop and go traffic. The leg will cramp... At over 117k miles, I can't believe this car is as nice as it has been.

Car met all of my needs: roomy, comfortable and dependable. Has a few extra luxury items such as heated leather seats and navigation. The ice cold air and tinted windows are a plus in Florida!!

This sedan understand my needs.It has Cassette Player and CD Player for relaxing in the morning or after a busy day at work,it is also safe,with Driver Airbag and Passenger Airbag.It works smoothly,no noises.This is one of my favorite cars!
