I love my Camry!!
I love my Camry, I enjoy the easy with which it turns, the exterior and interior style. Though I only have the SE model, I rated it high because I know that the features that I would like to have are offered in the higher model. This is by far the best car I've ever owned, and enjoyed driving.

08 Hybrid
I got this car new and wow, I was impressed. It feels like a reel car. I drove all the other hybrids out there, they all felt a little toyish to me. The Honda Civic for example made me feel like I should celebrate if I hit 60. Back to my Camry. The power from a start is great, however, when you are cursing it takes a little bit longer than most to figure out "oh hey you want to go faster now." But one you get past that the power is just there. It is smooth throughout acceleration. The breaking is great, the regenerative breaking is something that I noticed on other Hybrids. You could feel it. With this car, the breaking is quite responsive and doesn't have that cluncky feel. Safety was important to me when I bought this car. Camry had the best of the Hybrids. Toyota didn't slump off on the safety in this car. Recently I was involved in an accident, my car rolled down an embankment. The plus side is I walked away, albeit out of the moon roof (the car was on its side). The tow truck driver and the police officer were both surprised that my car still looked normal. And it even started. I am so glad Toyota makes solid cars. The performance is great the price is not outrageous and the build quality is outstanding.

So Sweet!
I have the 6 cylinder, SE with a 5-speed manual transmission and a sun roof. The SE has the Sports package, and it's a blast to drive. While it is a family sedan, this package makes it a bit-too-large sports car. It's fun to drive! Mileage is about 27 mpg on the highway; 21 in the city. Reliability is great, and at 158,000 miles the original(!) rear shock struts had to be replaced. Toyota's parts are expensive, but you're buying quality. Aftermarket parts, though cheaper, just don't fit as well. Buy original Toyota parts and have another garage put them in.

Camry quality has been sliding....Nissan's #1
It seems like the quality of the Camry has slid since the 90's....Big time!!! 600 miles and the car has terrible hesitation, spongy/soft brakes, noisy, no power and cheap tires. Spoke to other people and all seem to have complaints about Toyota. It must be the cycles all companies go thru. Nissan/Honda/Kia are now ahead of the Camry. I will be selling this pile of junk and buying a Nissan like I wanted to in the first place.

A nice upgrade!
My 2008 Camry LE is a great vehicle! I opted for the Sunroof and Alloy wheels as upgrades! This vehicle rides and drives soooo comfortablly! A majority of my driving is on the open highway, and this vehicle is soo smooth, quiet and peaceful that I find myself looking forward to a trip! This is a definite upgrade from my 2003 Toyota Matrix! I really like the interior, especially the dash layout! It is very user friendly! At night, the light emitting from the "center stack" can be a bit much and reflect off the windshield, so I just turn the interior lights down a bit. The only downside is that the handling is not the greatest...but I am used to the way it handles now. It might have been worth the extra money for the "SE" model. I opted for the 4 cylinder engine which I am happy with. If you need that extra "oomph" to pass or whatever, the 4cylinder has the power, you just have to ask it hard it enough. It is a great vehicle! A large improvement over the previous generation Camry!

Buyer beware this car is a nightmare!
I had my Camry LE V6 about 4 months and in that time things were just awful. Before I purchased this thing I test drove a Mercury Milan, Saturn Aura, and a Nissan Altima. And after driving all of those vehicles and then the Camry I fell in the love with it, it had a smooth ride, good engine performance and was very comfortable. But after about 1,500 miles the Transmission started to hesitate and jerking and when I started it up one morning I heard a loud ticking so I took it back to the dealership and they claimed there was nothing they could find wrong with transmission and they could not hear the ticking so I said ok and drove it back home and this mess continued to happen so I took it to another Toyota dealership and they said there was nothing they could find wrong with so I said ok maybe this is the way it's supposed to run, but one afternoon on my way home from work the RPM's went from about 2,100 to 6,000 and then down to about 800 and then just cut off leaving me stranded and after it was towed to the dealership they said well your pistons are no good, but there is nothing wrong with the transmission so after they replaced the engine 3 weeks later I got the car back and I drove it right over to my local Lincoln Mercury dealership and purchased a 2008 Mercury Milan what I should have got first and I could not be happier with it. Overall still though the Camry is not a bad looking car or a bad driving but the Engine and Transmission needs to be replaced or at least made to be road worthy.

Comfort and reliability
I like the interior design. It's very comfortable. Drives smooth, has plenty of trunk space. I can't think of anything negative to say about this car.
