NOT what i spected on the mpg 2013 XLE HYBRYD

Nice, confortable, but it is not what it I Espected on the mpg, it makes only 29miles on the city or in the highway i had paid $35k for this car, but toyota is cheating customers when they said, car makes 38-40mpg,not matter how you drive easy, slow or fast you won't be able to make more than 29mpg not recomend any one to buy hybrid, buy a regular le or xle you will save more money . DON'T BUY HIBRYD NEW BUY REGULAR LE OR XLE !!!

Gas Mileage

The car is beautiful but if you're expecting the 38-40 gas milage or even close, you won't get it. I love my car but I get between 29-30 mpg mileage!!!! I took it in and they had all these excuses of how the mileage is rated. I'm a conservative driver and should be getting much better mileage

really good car

I looked at vehicles to replace a Honda Fit which I had for three years. I didn't like the appearance of the Camry when they were redesigned and made the unfortunate mistake of trying a 2012 Accord. I hated the car. But the dealer worked with me to try some other vehicles -- including a new Camry at the dealer across the road (same owner). The moment I sat in the Camry, I was impressed. The test drive was also good -- the Camry, even with the four-cylinder motor, was really quiet and fast. I've had the car for about a year or so and about 12,500 miles and I love it. I drive a lot of different vehicles for work -- they're all government or rental vehicles -- and none comes close to offering the overall good-quality of this vehicle. Everything in the Camry seems to fall directly to hand and fits me well: my arm sits right on the arm rest and my hand falls readily to the gear shifter. The cruise control was immediately intuitive; the radio controls make sense and are easy to use. Everything is of good -- if not great -- quality. I don't think there is any one thing the Camry excels at but it does everything quite well. A couple of things I'd prefer: having a locking mechanism for the trunk. If you give someone the key to the car or someone breaks into the passenger compartment, then they'll have access to the trunk. The Accord I had was equipped with a key locking device for the trunk release; the valet key did not work in the lock. Another thing I'd change is to be able to select recirculated air for the defroster. I hate to breath exhaust fumes on a winter morning when sitting in traffic. Overall, great car that I recommend to anyone in the market for a decent, roomy, comfortable, quick, anonymous sedan. And even though I didn't at first like the appearance of the Camry, the look has grown on me and I just love them now.

Reliability

Bought my 2012 Camry brand new, have about 20000 miles on it. Goes 100 mph easily and cruises at 85 nicely. Hugs the road and does not get pushed around by the air of trucks. Get 38 mpg when traveling 70 mph on the freeway. Get around 25 mpg in the city. The cover to the driver side airbag between front and side windows does not stick properly. AC smells bad for a minute until it cools off. Probably 600 freeway miles on a tank of gas. I do have a 2004 Camry with 155,000 miles which I love and gave to son. If you want a car that will start and just change oil and tires, buy a CAMRY.

Ok car

I have the 2012 SE V6 with all the bells and whistles. My car has 10,000 miles on it. The thing I hate the most are the door, dash and seat rattles that happen from time to time. 30 % of the time. And don't put anything in the passenger seat or the floor of the car. The car will rattle more. The handling is not as good as I would like it to be. It should handle tight turns a lil better. Careful of white scuffs on the black interior which is standard on the SE. Drives me crazy. I understand not everyone has the rattling prob with their 12 camry, but just be careful. Smooth ride, great power and acceleration. Very comfterable and roomy. The reasons I got the car. If I could do it again I would buy it used with 50K miles. There's no reason for a brand new car to have rattles. Rattles started at 5K btw.

disappointing MPG

I am very disappointed with my 2012 Camry, I am averaging 17 MPG City, and 22 MPG Hwy. I have checked the air in the tires, tried different driving styles, and i can not get the MPG any higher. I am a middle aged woman, and I drive modestly. Also, the cloth interior is very poor quality, the fabric stains easily and it is already wearing. I have a 1997 Camry, it is still a champion car, and i get better mileage then the 2012. My 1997 feels more solid and durable. I can not recommend the newer Camry.

still love everything!

1.5 years and 14K miles later still love everything. Quiet, easy rolling, economical (up to 40+ on highway and 27-28 in the city!!!), comfortable and sharp looking car. Love touch screen and base 6.1? stereo, best stereo in very reasonably priced car.
