Brand new Camry XSE got tire exploded on city road
We purchased a brand new Camry XSE 2018 and 16 days later got left front tire exploded on city road at 782 mileage. Toyota asked if there were some dent on the road and we said probably some small dent. Then Toyota told us it is not their responsibility since the tire is not manufactured by Toyota. This makes me worried because tire explosion may cause serious safety issue. It seems to me that Camry should be a reliable car. I am not sure if it is because XSE has a sporty design so that its tire expects a perfect road surface? Should I buy XLE instead of XSE at all, since I am looking for a daily commuting car, not a car that occasionally driven on sport tracks.

I love my car
This is the best car I’ve ever owned. I traded my 2014 Camry in for 2018. I loved my 2014 and only wanted to upgrade. Now I really love my 2018. I would recommend this car to everybody.

Terrible Infotainment System
The 2018 Camry Infotainment Entune / Scout system is not compatible with an Apple Iphone. Toyota added Apple Carplay to the 2019 model but has no plans to update or fix this issue for 2018. Good car but terrible Infotainment system.

Great looking car
Great looking but the 4 cyl. Is a little sluggish and noisy. Toyota changes were not for the better. You have to purchase a 6 cylinder in order to get all the options you want such as a good sound system,Sirius radio and cruise control. I bought the SXE lots of bells and whistles but they force you into a 6 cylinder if you want what you had in your previous 4 cylinder Camry. I love the dealer but not thrilled with Toyota anymore. I am considering leaving Toyota after this car in 2years and 6 months. This is my 5th one and probably my last. I don’t need apps I want real navigation and a radio with a CD player.

My first Camry is going strong at 330,000 miles
This 2018 Camry surprises me with features, comfort styling and performance. If it lasts as long as our 1997 Camry my unborn grandchildren will be enjoying it!

Love my Camry but the app interface is terrible
I love the car but the Entune app is very bad. You have very few apps, and they are lousy. The connection with your phone causes you to have to allow the system to access your phone each time. Usually, a minute or 2 after you are driving down the road. There is a maps app that has to be at the forefront of all apps on your phone. Of course, after you are driving and have to pick up your phone to give the car system access to your phone you then have to go back and bring the maps app to the forefront. Many times the system will kill your cell phone internet access. The quickest way to fix that is to turn your phone to airplane mode, disconnect the cable connecting to the car, then reconnect and restart car app then bring maps app to the forefront on your phone while driving. This is NOT a safe way to be able to use your sound system/apps. Toyota doesn't care if you have to do all this but they will not allow display of album art when you are driving because they consider THAT a distraction.
