Economical and Reliable

This is a wonderful family car. Very comfortable for trips, enough room for luggage, and 500+ mile range if you can drive for 7 hours. Interior has held up well and exterior is still flawless.

Great Starter Hybrid

The 2012 Camry XLT was my first hybrid and I was surprised at the power this car had, so much so that I nicknamed it the "rocket". Coming from a Lexus, I was disappointed in the lack of comfort in the seats, but eventually got used to the stiffness of the seats. It handled well and we averaged from 35-37 mpg on regular gas. Much better than using high test recommended on the Lexus. The GPS lacked a lot to be desired, even after two updates - it could not even find my home address. The only other major complaint would be limited visibility in the side rear. Overall, great first experience in a hybrid and I replaced it with a Honda Accord Hybrid.

NOISY, GAS MILAGE IS 26 MPG OVER ALL.

THE CAR IS NOISY WITH A WIND SOUND . TOOK TO THE DEALER THEY CHECKED IT AND SAID IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR DESIGN. THE CAR BATTERY FAILED AT 63,000 MILES . NO WARRANTY HAD TO PAY $300 PLUS FOR REPLACEMENT. THE CAR IS ROUGH RIDING. I HAVE A 2000 AVALON THAT HAS 220,000 MILES STILL GETS 23 MPG OVER ALL. IT IS 3 TIMES THE CAR THIS CAMRY HYBRID IS. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THESE PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT SAYING THE CAR GETS GREAT MPG BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HERE IN ARIZONA. WHEN THE TEMP GETS TO 100 AND ABOVE THE MPG GOES DOWN TO THE MID 20s. AND LOWER. THE PLACEMENT OF THE TEMP GUAGE AND CLOCK ON THE DASH ARE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ODOMETER AND THE PASSENGER CANNOT SEE ANYTHING. NEEDS TO BE IN THE CENTER OF THE DASH LIKE MOST CARS ARE. THIS CAR IS MOSTLY RUBBER AND PLASTIC.

Reliable and fun to drive

Reliable and fun to drive. The Toyota Camry hybrid is a very smooth ride. It has fantastic features in the XLE style. The navigation and backup camera are very good for this year, 2012.

75% US parts in this car.

#1 US made car 6 years in a row, but now it doesn't show up in your top 10 list...really. is it a jeep thing? I loved everything about hybrid camry except front seats. Fuel mileage was must better than advertised.

itll drive forever

With a cruising range of 500 plus miles I get spoiled on long trips. All the looks and great feel of a camry with the unbeatale performace of a hybrid. great smooth but snappy response on the gas. Nothing fancy but leaves nothing lacking.
