Going Green and Looking Good Too!!!

Wow. This car is more than I expected. People were suprised when I said this is what I wanted with having three children. But they all fit in just fine with one car seat and two booster seats. They love this car. It is quiet, roomy, and economical. I just filled up after 508 miles of city driving!!! Love my 2012 Camry Hybrid XLE.

So far, so good

We are enjoying our new Camry Hybrid even more than we thought we would. We're still in the process of learning how to drive it to maximize the mileage as t is a different drive than our previous (and dearly loved) 8-year old Prius. It is a very smooth drive. The interior is great and it is a comfy ride. We really like the counsel design and it is one reason we chose it over the new Prius, which has a swoopy new design for its counsel.

Well Built Vechicle with Excellant Gas Mileage

I was looking for a reliable and more luxurious car to replace a 02? Saturn L300 that ended up being DOA to repair shop and stayed DOA after examination. The new Camry body style and add features was a significant upgrade from my previous car. The car is a little larger, has a very smooth ride, and handles very nicely around turns. The seats are comfortable and visibility out the windows is much better. The ?Blind Spot? alert system works very well. The hybrid mileage is as advertised and I have been getting close to this mileage. This is my first Hybrid and it takes some time to modify your driving habit to take full advantage of the Hybrid system?s benefits. There is a lot of leg room in the back seat and this works well, since my brothers are all well over 6 feet tall. Plenty of head room and the 6 way driver seat provides penalty of adjustments. Accelerates very well and the brakes are strong and stops the car quickly. I am still learning how to use all the Nav/electronic systems that come with the car. All in all a very well built vehicle, lots of upgrades and a pleasure to drive.

Love My Camry

Purchased our 3rd. Camry. First Hybrid. It is comfortable, stylish, and has all the convenience of more pricey cars. Looking forward to many years and miles of driving comfort.

Surprisingly Good in Winter Road Conditions

Have owned a 2012 Camry Hybrid XLE for a month now. Nothing negative to report, no bad surprises, which given the millions of Camry's out there is about what any of us would expect. As a positive surprise, I was really excited about how well the hybrid drives on slippery, slushy, snow- or ice-covered winter streets and freeways. In the Twin Cities, we get up to 4 months a year of such, and the Camry Hybrid is a star. The regenerative systems slow the car better than a "traditional internal combustion engine", and that's before the ABS and Traction Control do their stuff. MPG - I'm getting upper 30's when its cold and on short trips, and low 40's when its warmed up. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

love this car

The 2012 is everything we liked about our 2007 & 2010 camrys combined with extra features. We opted for the XLE Hybrid and we are not disappointed. The Navagation system was upgraded with a new feature set.

Best car we've owned

Purchased 2012 LE end of May. Don't need all the extras of the XLE. What a super car this is. We drove from Phoenix to western Colorado and back, lots of mountains and city driving, amazing amount of power and got 40.9, 40.8 Phoenix to Yuma and back. I retired after many over 30 years as a manager for a German high line dealer and drove and have owned many new import and domestic cars, this car is without question the most comfortable quietest and, most importantly, reliable car we have ever had. My wife is not a car person but she LOVES this car. Couldn't be happier.

Far exceeds manufacture MPG ratings

I bought my new Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE in March 2012. I currently have 13,000 miles and the oil change is covered by Toyota for two years is the only thing that has been needed. I often try to see how high my MPG per trip can get, as each trip is calculated by the car. I drive the car in ECO mode all the time and it is only sluggish if you drive it that way. This car really moves at any speed if you put your foot in it. My average work commute consist of 62 miles round trip. Within that distance speed range from 25-55mph with no highway driving. My mpg average since I brought it, has been consistent 45 on the low and 47 on the high. I have had individuals trip s of 32 miles and have reached as high as 60mpg. The highway driving that I have done I normally achieve 41-43 MPG at 70MPH. If you are considering a family car with outstanding mileage look no further.

Very comfy, quiet and reliable Camry Hybrid

We wanted a high-quality, reliable hybrid, and didn't like the Prius enough to buy one (rear view and comfort issues); the Camry Hybrid has gotten great reviews, and has lived up to them so far. Not exciting to drive, but better than previous Camrys in that regard, reliable so far, very comfy, quiet and safe, good sound system. Plan to keep it for 20 years, as we always try to with our cars.

Most fuel efficient car I have owned.

Our requirements were that it had to be comfortable, have room for 2 sets of golf clubs and some luggage in trunk, and get better mileage than the 20 mpg we got with our Toyota Highlander. Mission accomplished. We purchased the Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE. It's comfortable, stylish(my opinion), nice interior and we have doubled our mileage to 39/40 mpg range on combined city(mostly) and highway driving. All the various gages relating to gas usage are really helpful along with keeping the car in ECO mode. Because of the gages, it definitely makes a person more aware of how they are driving. It records individual trips and many are in the mid 40's and above when paying particular attention to the gages and driving habits. We have had it approximately a month and have had no problems and no need to take it back for servicing. Great car. Great experience so far.
