Headliner fallen apart. Cheap Door panels .
Excellent gas gas mileage. Very reliable car. Cheap plastics used inside. The body hardware is like Tin can to reduce weight for better gas mileage I guess.

I have LOVED my car for 17 1/2 years!
Ive preferred Toyota & Honda ever since my parents'Fixed Or Repaired Daily had its final EXPENSIVE breakdown after only 8 years. So my 2002 Corolla has been with me 254,xxx miles so far. TrumpTradeTax wants to put a big TAX on future imports, so ive been preparing myself to buy a new Toyota before the end of 2019. But i really dont want to do this, i still love my 2002. Unlike my experience w/ Fords & GM, my Toyota has only needed routine maintenance, oil changes, tires, etc & is extremely fuel efficient. My current Toyota even makes a U-turn from lane to lane, is extremely agile & easy to drive. My dream car. I really dont want to ever buy another car. So im dragging my feet checking out 2020 Yaris, Echo, Corolla. Sure wish Costco would include the Toyota YARIS in their Auto Program!! HINT HINT. Meantime im psyching up to buy a new car even though i really really dont want to. I cant think of a better tribute to a heroic workhorse of a wonderful car than to be very reluctant to part with it. Maybe i'll just keep getting it repaired--that's really what i want to do anyway.:) THANK YOU, TOYOTA!

Wonderful commuter or first time car!
This car is easy to drive and reliable! It has low mileage for the year. Second owner with a clean title. It was the car that I learned how to drive on, and it has been great ever since!

Best car I’ve ever owned
In 2007 I bought a 2001 Corolla which lasted until 2016, when I got into an accident. Throughout my time with that car, I only had to pay for routine maintenance, replace the power steering pump, and get some small repairs done on the exhaust system. Earlier this month I got into a car accident in my other vehicle, (2006 Corolla), To my surprise when I was shopping for a new car I came across this 2002 Toyota Corolla, base model. I was shocked and jumped on it immediately because of how reliable I know the car is. CE is the base model, It is equipped with air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, a rear window defogger, AM/FM cassette and CD. Do not expect cruise control or power door locks. But expect a reliable trustworthy and beautiful car that won’t let you down. I am a Corolla owner for life!

Amazing reliable car
Virtually no repairs required in 15 years. I live in northern Ontario And park outside and do not use a block heater and my car starts Even at -30 c.2 brake jobs and 1 muffler replacement over 265000 km. Only drawback is minimal back seat leg room.

Worth the money i paid for it
I bought it around 2,3 years ago. It mainly requires regular maintenance to works fine and although i got it mainly for commenting to work, it has taken me to longer distances as well. Overall am satisfied with it.

Great, reliable car for daily travel
This car gets me from A to B, runs fine, good on gas, and looks good while doing so. Never has stalled, broke down or had anything bad happen while I was driving it.

Exceeded Expectations
This Toyota Corolla has been one of the most dependable cars I've heard of and personally driven. I bought mine at 170,000 miles and I've driven it close to 40,000 miles in 3 years and I haven't had a single mechanical problem outside of the scheduled brake fixes. Driving manual is incredibly fun and this car provided me with a great way to learn stick and get better with it. It's great gas mileage has been a lifesaver when gas got high. There were times where I'd driven 375+ miles on one tank and I was worried I would run out of gas, but it just kept on going. Anyone who needs a dependable car that will last them a while that's good on gas mileage should consider Corollas.
