2003 Toyota Corolla consumer reviews

We bought this boring little car brand new in 2002. It does exactly what we bought it to do - provide years of cheap, boring, trouble-free commuting. We've owned it for 16 years and it now has over 265,000 miles on it! All I've ever had to do was basic maintenance, plus one wheel bearing and a couple of brake calipers. Mechanically I bet it would go another 200,000 miles, but unfortunately the salty Minnesota roads have caused it to rust pretty badly over the years. Once it does finally die I'll have a tough time replacing it with anything other than another Corolla.

I have had this car for 10 years and have had literally no problems with it. I needed to replace brakes, tires, and stuff like that, but nothing unexpected. I even wrote an article about this car at work describing that I spend as little on the total cost of my car in order to focus on other things. As far as I'm concerned it's the best car on the planet (for someone who doesn't care about cars).

It meets my needs. It may not be the prettiest but it gets me where I have to go. Very reliable for its age. Handles miles very well. Very rarely has any issues.

Great vehicle. Built well and lasts forever. If you maintain it well it doesnt have any problems. Maintenance is very reasonable.

I've owned it for 16 years. It's odometer broke at 299,999.9 miles, about 3 years, 35,000 miles ago. I've spent about $900 for repairs. I'd call it a reliable vehicle.

Bought this car as a used car. It drives really well and is very comfortable. I have driven many long distance trips (from NY to MA) with this car and it has never disappointed me. Great gas mileage as well, very affordable and economical. Would definitely recommend Toyota Corolla to my friends!
