Best Car For The Money
My dad bought a 2003 Toyota Corrolla in Decebber of 2002. It has been the best car hes owned. Only time its been in the repair shop was recently in November of 2010 when it was rear ended with very minor damage. Otherwise only maintnence, The only real problem we had was a plug for the A/C went out but i cost $60 to fix and took 5 minuets to fix. The corrolla is fun to drive. I personally love how it accelerates. you really can feel the power when you floor it. I'm 16 and buying my first car and am considering a toyota tacoma because from this car i know i can trust a toyota

Toyota Corolla
It is a wonderful car. I like it because It can save our money for gasoline. It is comfortable to drive in the city and on highways. You can easily control its speed or stop it. Also I like its color, orange red, glowing in the sun. When I needed to change accumulator the car gave me a sign before. I would like to recommend this car for people who need a good car for not too much money.

Died a premature death
I loved my Corolla but the transmission died at 7 years/80,000 miles and it would have cost as much to replace as the car is worth. No more Toyotas for me.

Not the best
I have enjoyed the Corolla and passed it to my son. But really there have been some issues with this one. The transmission had to be replaced at about 80000 miles after I could not get it in gear. That little $2500 job left me with a bad taste. The quality of the interior has also been less than durable with worn carpet and cracked plastics. The shifter cover came apart. Other than that, it gets ok mileage at an average of 31. The headlights are barely adequate on low at night and it seems to eat tires. Paint doesn't want to stay on either. My last Corolla.

The most disappointing epic fail ever.
This is my second Toyota corolla. Ive had a 97 that broke down in 2001 with a bad trans. I purchased a 2003 and haven't had very many problem until 2005. when my car started to stall out and die. Then my brakes were warping twice every month. I still like Toyota but they need to work out all the bugs before i buy another one. And now they've recalled 600k Sienna minivans. I don't thing I'll buy a Toyota for a long time maybe ten years or so. I still have my corolla and it has 36K. original trans and motor. I hope it will hit 50 K then i can sell it. and as for quality of the interior. It leaks somewhere, it has stuff falling off in some of the weirdest places like from my dash the middle of the car my radio has come out an inch and wont budge back in and my seat wont move anymore. Broken rail maybe. Oh and by the way this car wont run anymore. It stalled a week ago and wont turn over.

Best Car Ever
We bought this car (Toyota Corolla 2003) new spring 2002 for $13,100.00 plus tax and tags. It has been a great car. Gas mileage has been between 27-38 MPG depending on season and type of driving. We had two problems that were fixed on the warranty free of charge. The catalytic converter had to be replaced and the lights in the dash blew out after 1 year. We haven't had any problems since. It is a very smart design. We went to the airport with 5 adults + luggage. We have hauled furniture, trees, firewood, etc. in this car. We can fit more in this car than my dad's Mercedes. When we had a baby we could fit the car seat, stroller and other supplies without problems. It is not a sports car but it feels solid and gets you from point A to B comfortably. Best car for the money.

Buy it. Period.
My wife drives this car 100 miles a day= 550 per week= 25K per year. 198K later, 2 Kids later, Change the oil and basic maintanance. Any family, single mom or person that needs reliable transportation - you can't go wrong. I Changed the oil yesterday and my mechanic says- If you ever sell this car you are an idiot. I Have a 5 series bimmer with less miles that drains my wallet left and right. Toyota makes an absolutely fantastic product. The last two years it has cost me about 1k to maintain this car. oil changes tires. That is 40 bucks a month- no car note- paid for.

Glad to have a Corolla
Im glad to have a Corolla. It is gas efficient especially when I drive on freeways/highways. Light & easy to maneuver/park around the city.Reliable.. Gains momentum fast in highways... Not a lot of problems if u maintain it regularly & Toyota speaks for quality, so I want to keep this car for years--even more than a decade maybe...

Best Car I've ever Owned . . by far!
I bought my corolla sport model (S) new in 2003 with 27 miles on it. I've done nothing major to it. Just changed the oil every 5k using synthetic blend until 50k then changed to full synthetic, replaced brakes a couple times, and changed spark plugs once. It now has 236,xxx miles on it and is still running strong. It will have to have a clutch soon though. I have got as much as 41 mpg highway but average around 36 combined driving (standard tranny). I would like to find another one like this, but will be keeping this one until the wheels fall off.

Good dependability
I really like my 2003 Corolla. It is dependable, reliable, maintenance free. Gas mileage 34mpg hwy but not so great in-town. Still, so glad to be driving the Corolla with the uncertain gas prices. My next car will probably be a Jeep again though. As the Jeep was far superior in every way. For example, the front brake shoes were worn thin after only 30,000 miles. Unlike the Jeep which didn't wear until 60K. And the paint job is poor quality. Already is dull even after having it professionally buffed. Unlike the '92 Jeep's paint job which STILL looks brand new. And the tires needed replaced after just 32,000 miles - again, unlike the Jeep that didn't need replaced until 75,000 miles. So even though the Toyota has been maintenence free, it's regular maintenence schedule has only lasted half as long.
