It got the job done.

This isn't one of the most fanciest cars you'll see, but its reliable and great on gas. We've passed it along in the family and purchased it as a used two year old. It's a good family car and good for commute.

Very economical and reliable car.

The car meets my basic needs. It is a bit old but is very efficient. The car has never had any problems since I have owned it.

Most Reliable 2004 Corolla LE

I'm the second owner, purchased at 42k miles in 2006. I have 226k miles (June 2017) on it and will be taking a road trip shortly. Built in Detroit, MI. and lives in TN...no rust. I have taken it on highway, town, dirt roads, and back roads and she still keeps me dry, moving and happy! The last two years (since 2015) I've been putting in 91 Octane and seems to run better than 87...meaning peppier. It has not lost the get up and go power to date (6/19/17)!!! I've replaced Serpentine (once), Spark Plugs (Iridium - twice), Headlamps (once), Brakes/Shoes/Rotors (Premium) three times, O2 Sensor (once), Tires (Michelin) probably every other year, Factory Radio to after mkt (Pioneer), Speakers w/ Sub in trunk, and went to K&N Air Filter (when dirty I clean it) & Oil Filter (every 5-6k miles) and use Castrol Edge Synthetic after Dealer's free from Warranty was up. (I haven't switched to High Mileage yet, b/c I don't want to put that in my cars mind yet. :) Cabin Air Filter (yearly). I still get 35mpg. I do not have any engine, exhaust or performance problems! I have upgraded to LED taillights, reverse and markers w/ the switch box a couple weeks ago...$100. Yes, the clock has officially quit, but aftermkt radio tells me this. I LOVE THIS CAR and it is STILL my daily driver. I can not see me doing a trade-in either...she will be mine forever! (I have added Tint and Wind Shades to keep the extreme heat out as well.) After having rented a 2015 Hyundai Sonata and driving over 1,500 miles and then getting back into the Corolla, I've noticed the driving seat is a bit smaller...the seat cushion doesn't go to the back of your knees like the Sonata does. Therefore, the overall comfort could have been better, but I am comparing 11 year differences. (The Sonata has greater handling.)

Great car, great value!

One on Toyota's fabulous, incredibly reliable and long lasting sedans. A joy to drive, meticulously cared for and maintained.

comfortable and fun to drive

I had a used 2004 Corolla LE. There was just service done for oil changes and some 60,000 maintenance. It was totaled when it got flooded in my driveway by flood waters. But, I liked my car so much, I replaced it with another 2004. Both cars had milage under 70,000. The second 2004 was hit in the rear by a semi-truck, on the interstate tollway. I had a total of 4 people in the car. No one was hurt, just shaken up. The only damages were a smashed trunk lid. I still put on another 10,000 miles after that. I just bungeed the trunk lid closed. I realize I was super lucky. It appears the truck and I must have been traveling very near the same speed, for this to happen. But what I story I've had to tell friends.

A great deal

This car gives me everything I need. It's smooth, compact, and easy to drive. One of my favorite features is the CD player (my old car only had radio, and I am so tired of hair bands). It was very clean, no stains or evident abuse to the interior. There were a few dings and scratches on the outside, but that's to be expected for a 13-year-old car, and I didn't even care about those superficial things. It was a great purchase.
