A sporty Corolla with a sweet 6 speed manual trans

This car is a nice in-between - an upgrade in performance from an econobox - but not quite a sports car. Still, it does have enough zip to to be satisfying while getting 23/35 mpg. I've owned it for 12 years. Its been comfortable on more than a few trips up and down the Pacific coast. Very reliable.

SAFE AND RELIABLE !!!

Very reliable, great gas mileage, comfortable and roomy for its size, extremely economical to own, has high end car safety features. Our family (parents, us, brother ) have 5 Toyotas, so we highly recommend them.

Best 1.8 I've Owned 05 Corolla CE

bought it with 137 miles brand new! at that time I loved how these stick shift feels (5sp) bec. it was new 6250 rpm it's racy to me! if buying stick shift get the CE model customize it a lot of potential another is the S model it's racy looks. The LE is for losers, fake wood boring car. The Best would be XRS! The comfort problem that I did not bother is the driver seats the chair itself prevents your leg and foot to have proper feel to the pedals! Which overtime hurt my legs and back! Remembering now! The clutch is quite heavy for me. It's really well made even though it's cheap wish they've put disk brake all four like XRS or civics do besides that large Front brake is enough to stop the car for that power! 130hp. This is one of the cars I regret getting rid of for almost 2 years only oil change and tire change w/c was a waste cause I trade it! CHANGE THE SEATS ON THE CE model it should feel like those Civics do. Interior plastic are tolerable it's about the price under 15k brand new at that time! Quality and Resale value if low mileage. This car is baby Lexus GS300 FWD look at the rear and front of this car! No one knew. Sadly '09 - '17 corollas aren't my taste but maybe the '18-'19 are. this car has only 6 recalls from toyota and I believed is not part of the takata Recall w/c was a serious RECALL Worldwide the affected were '07 above. it's 3rd gear can reach to 80mph no sweat, imagine if you convert brakes and suspension plus engine on these . "2T1BR" VIN first# nostalgic. This are American made corollas w/ Japanese parts of course. That 3 spoke steering wheel one of the best factory I've crossed upon, smooth shifter depending on the owner but I'm the first. No one knew the CE could be this good for being cheap, I did change to alloy wheels that is why the handling got better! I practice on it on an empty safe place quite fun except for that SEATS! The power does not bother me it is tameable

Best car I have ever owned.

Most reliable car I've ever owned or have ever heard of anyone owning. 350000 miles without any mechanical issues other than normal maintenance items. Amazingly, it still has the original clutch!

Cars that last forever.

The Toyota Corolla has got to be one of the best cars out there. As a starter car or a transportation car, it's the best. The gas mileage is great for not being a hybrid. The power is more than enough. You can comfortably fit 4-5 people. I am 6'6" and I fit in this car with no problems. I could not be happier with this car. You will not find a more reliable car for the price anywhere. I come from a long line of Toyota owners. One of my fathers old Toyota delivery trucks had $800,000+ miles on it with no problems (no joke). They will go 300,000+ miles before you need to do much of anything to it. That is why i keep buying Toyota. All you need to do it the oil, tires and a tune up every once in awhile. If you like peace of mind knowing your car will always be there for you with no problems, this is the car for you. Over all the style is nice. The gas Mileage is great. Ergonomically it is set up perfect. The comfort of the ride is good. The passenger room is ample. Most importantly the Reliability is top notch.
