Best value quality

Not driven too much considering the age, most of the time was in parking. Selling because of urgently needing money otherwise would kept it for sure.

Very reliable car.

Rides very well. The s model is sporty. This was purchased with only 104,000 miles on it and will last way over 200,000 miles. The metallic blue really makes the car look sharp and it gets great gas mileage.

This car meets my needs.

The car I bought meets my needs. The manual transmission was a must. The white color would not have been my first choice, but the color of the car was not a deciding factor.

2009 - Base (MT) +200K on it and runs as new

Nothing fancy to see here... no glitter... just a totally reliable car... this car is still running as new... I am looking forward to getting a newer version and am feeling nostalgic to let this one go... the best reason for owning a corolla is that replacing the parts that wear after high mileage, was affordable... can't ask any more from a car that gets me from point A to point B without a hiccup... bought it with 65K miles for $8K, at which time I replaced clutch, breaks, calipers, alternator, and rear/front struts for additional $4K and have used this baby from 2012-2020 without any major repairs (just tires/break pads)... paid for itself, best money ever spent... will buy/recommend corolla again... few recalls were done by dealers for free... no complaint there either. I was thinking to buy newer Honda or Korean cars but, too many uncertainties: we have no data/experience on CVT transmissions or turbo engines in the long run: will they be reliable? will the turbo-mechanism, CVT or engine pistons wear down/deteriorate after +100K miles? will the repairs be costly? sounds like yet another layer of reasons/things that can go wrong... but we won't know until time answers the question. Am not much for being a guinea-pig. If it ain't broke... don't break it nor try to fix it.

LEAST RELIABLE CAR EVER OWNED.

Nothing special about this car. Very unreliable car. Would leave you on the highway in a heartbeat. Please do not buy it. It's not worth the headache

331,000 miles and running strong

With highway driving and keeping the oil changed with full synthetic, this car needed $0 in repairs and the break pads were at 75% after 300,000 miles. City driving had me replace break pads and turn rotors recently but I thought it was amazing to go 300,000 and the pads were still like a new car.
