Great First Car

Only had for a few weeks but really enjoy the car. Love Toyota in general for their reliability. Had a before 2003 corolla before which was sold in 2007. Never liked the styling of that one but this 2014 corolla is pretty nice. Hopefully this car lasts for a very long time.

This is my fourth Corolla since 1985

It is sporty yet practical. I use it to transport my elderly mother and am able to fit her walker in the back seat. I like the roomy trunk. I like the get up and go of the engine. The car has a standard transmission which was my first requirement when purchasing my new car. I love it and get lots of compliments on the color - Slate.

Loved it

The car is great that is why I just bought a 2017 model. I have never had any problems with it. It is also a fast car for a 4 cylinder.

Can't go wrong with a Toyota!!

The Toyota Corolla is a great car. There is plenty of room in the front and back and the drive is very smooth. Great choice for a teenager's first car.

Great option for reliability and economy

This vehicle is one of those that if you are considering it, you already know usually what you are getting into. But for those of you, like me, who are cross shopping the corolla, here is what you need to know. First of all, I got into this vehicle out of a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. At the time, I was actually looking for something high performance, and was looking at vehicles like a 2012 Mazdaspeed3 and a 2012 Camaro 2SS. So my opinion on the Corolla is somewhat skewed because of how I ended up with it. In a nutshell, my father was working for a Toyota dealership and after showing me a handful of cars including the two mentioned above, insisted that I check out the brand new for 2014 Corolla. I had new car fever hard with the recent purchase of my wife's first new car, the 2014 mazda6, so I test drove the Corolla and decided it was the car for me. So my particular Corolla was a 2014 Corolla S "Plus" that included some options, such as navigation and a sunroof. My goal was to get it as loaded as I could afford, to avoid ever wanting to get another new car again (which did not work;more on that later). So from an options perspective, the Corolla will not disappoint. It has one of the better infotainment systems (if apps matter to you) and has a well thought out interior with great use of space. It is also VERY frugal on gas, with my average MPGs including lots of city driving hovering around 30.1, and on some trips as high as 40. I attribute this to the very effective CVT used in the car. But the biggest advantage was this cars undoing, as if you want to have ANY sort of fun in the Corolla, the CVT is not for you. Consider instead the 6 speed manual option, though the car will not be much faster it will give you the fun of being completely in control of it. Overall, the Corolla is a fine vehicle as long as you do not need anything fast or responsive. But then again, you probably already know that you want one to replace the Corolla you already have, so I will say you cannot go wrong with the new generation of the Corolla.

Looks elegant

This car has good performance cost ratio. Good for students like me who don't have much money, and want to own it for 3 to 5 years then sell it.

Great choice

This car fits me perfect. Perfect choice for my first used car. Smooth ride and rare color. It's small and that's what I like about it. Easy to keep clean and wash. I recommend this type of car for first time driver as well.
