My Dream Car Great Color OOH LA LA ROUGE MICA

Great design love the lane monitors and other safety features. Great buy for the money. Everyone should test drive the 2017 Highlander and most if not all will purchase one. Thank you Toyota.

Very comfortable ,wonderful for road trips

This is the first car or SUV that I really like and hope I can keep it for at least 10 years. But I'm having trouble with my paint clear coat.

2017 Highlander - All Star

This is a great Crossover with few compromises. We cross shopped the typical competitors; Honda, Mazda, Hyundai, GM, etc. Given we have/had a Mazda CX-5 and 6, thought it was natural we would end up in the CX-9. But similar to the attributes praised by FormerPilotOwnerX2 on June 1,the options are plenty; where the CX-9 had too many compromises in practicality and options that didn't over come the driving fun part - this is a family commuter. There are even more goodies that add up in terms of practicality and comfort. Items like 2nd row shades, heated front seats, heated mirrors, large 8"UI screen, 5 USB outlets, tri-climate control, leather seating in front rows, full function moon roof, a intercom system, solid V6 / 8spd auto, auto start/stop, ample small storage-notably the mid-shelf in the dash, power liftgate, reclining seats in the 2nd and 3rd row too, and a window hatch that opens independent of the rear gate! For us the Captains / bucket seats in the 2nd row was a must because of having supervision for multiple car seat riders that can be tended to without crazy gymanastics. All the above without having to step up to the top expensive trims; like in other brands. The higher trims on the Highlander have nice options but not worth the money for our lifestyle. Worth test driving the competition but currently there is no comparison in our minds in terms of the options, safety, reliability, and over all package performance. Keep the factory add on's to a minimum and you can get a good out the door price; keeping in mind you are in the market for a 3 row cross over. Online price comparisons don't always talk about the dealer fees and sales tax but it adds up. We were out the door for no more than $40K (2017 HL XLE AWD - Silver - Cptn Chairs OPTs - All weather mats, rear bumper protector) Good luck and safe driving.

Great Car

The Toyota Highlander is a very nice and comfortable car. I recommend it. It gets good gas for the size of the car. I love the additional third row when I want to transport more people.

Most technologically advanced car I've owned

This vehicle is as sleek as it is smart. From its ambient lighting to its safety sense features, this SUV is well rounded. The drive is comfortable, front and back. It has sunshades built into the backseat windows to help with that summer glare. The third row comes in handy for those carpool days but when your not using it, the extra trunk space is even better.

Amazing Family Vehicle + Amenities on mid Trim

Smooth, quiet, comfortable and spacious ride. Captain chairs on XLE with Leather, NAV, Lane departure assist, self adjusting cruise, blind spot awareness - all things only available on highest trim level of Honda Pilot. I have switched from Honda (two time owner) due to the mechanical issues (planned obsolescence) and little arm rests on front seats instead of a console. Plus could only get captains chairs and AWD on the highest trim model for a lot more money. Even get 2 years free maintenance! Bonus!

Great size SUV

The Highlander has plenty of uses. Ample room for storage with the 3rd row seats down. Plenty of legroom in 2nd row, and driver / passenger areas are adequate. Plenty of bells, and whistles for your every need.

Lacks technology

Previously owned 2008 GM top of line Sierra. Toyota does NOT have electric folding mirrors Not a word in Manual about its GPS/Navigation which sucks with ?? 2 yr old maps No tire pressure reading No amount of gas gallons required for fill up ( nice to have for prepay stations) and the list goes on. Toyota just cheaped out on this one.

Beauty and brains!

Love my Highlander. Spacious but not too big to fit in my average two car garage. Love the electronics, extra vents and separate air adjustment for the back seats. Great front console to store all my incidentals. Comfortable ride, quiet interior ride smooth ride. Easy touch electronics. Sporty looking. Tight third seat but meets my needs. Not as roomy as a van but I didn't want a van. Plenty of storage room when all seats reclined. Love my car and still learning all its functionalities.!
