Absolutely LOVE this car!

I've had the Prius C for two months, and I like it more each day. My last two fill-ups came out to an average of 60 and 61 mpg for around town (temps mostly in the 70s and 80s - no AC used). Before that, when temps were in the 40s and 50s, I still got 57 mpg. This is our third Prius. My wife and I fight over who gets to drive it each day. It's very comfortable and roomy for a small car. We haven't taken it on a road trip yet, so I don't know its MPGs on the highway. 95% of our driving is done around our town of 20,000. Toyota has a real winner with the Prius C.

Prius c

I have wanted this little car ever since I read about it online. I waited to see all the colors in person before choosing, then decided on the Prius c Black Sand Pearl 2. I received it March 9. I have NOT been disappointed in it al all. It is everything and more than I expected. And so much fun. I just love it. The mileage is much better than advertised. The Prius c is so much better for me in fun and the size than any of my previous cars. I love the sporty ride and just overall great fun of driving this little jewel. Just love the car.It is indeed a little Jewel.

After a month/ 1000 miles

If you're after an economical, green car this is the ticket. You'll be hard pressed to get less than 50 mpg, no matter how you drive, and 55 to sixty if you baby it. It seats four adults comfortably and the ride and feel of the road suits me. It doesn't have the get up and go of my previous car (Acura TSX), but it's very adequate for Long Island Expressway driving.

Slightly less than perfect

On the rebound from a blissful 12 year relationship with a 200K mile Honda Civic Hatchback, the Prius C-2 looked like my best match. The Prius is very comfortable to drive and has all of the room that I require. Performance is easily adequate for mixed driving although, my manual Civic was easily able to pull a 4x8 utility trailer with impressive payloads. Interior noise levels are much better than my 2000 Civic but you will notice substantial wind noise emanating from the upper windshield at highway speeds. I greatly miss the rear and side visibility of the Civic compared to the Prius C although, it is acceptable with proper side mirror adjustments. With 70/30 highway/city driving I?m getting around 45 MPG, My Civic averaged maybe 8 MPG less ?That?s not terribly impressive considering that the Civic cost half as much back in 2000. I solved the lack of a left foot rest annoyance by fitting a nice piece of rubber diamond plate (Harbor Freight Tools) attached to the carpet with Velcro tape. Also annoying is the fact that the dash display is very dim during daytime driving with headlights ? (required in rainy conditions). I like the car a lot and I am likely to keep it for a very long time but it is not perfect. PS: It?s ok to point and laugh at the monster trucks and SUVs parked at the gas station as you drive by.

Saving on Gas

Best car I have ever bought. Although the EPA rates the Prius C at 46/53, I consistently get higher than that in both the city and on the highway while driving normally. When I push my patience and drive conservatively I can get amazing gas mileage (last night 7.8 miles driven at 89.7 mpg). Overall, a great car as gas prices rise.

Never thought Id drive one

Im a big guy, 6'1 280. So I was buying the Prius C for the wife and daughter. I did not even sit in the car or test drive figuring I would never drive this little "thing" I'm Half way done with the paper work and the wife has to go to work early. Just great, now I have to drive a car I figured Id never sit in let alone drive. So the dealer shows me how to make the thing work and off I go. Tell ya what I'm impressed, I fit nicely, its comfortable, great driving and since my truck get 11 mpg, the 55 mpg I am getting with this car makes me like it even more. Ok, I admit, I swore id never be seen in a Prius, but tell ya what, Its hard to get me out .

Best of the scompacts and green too...

I had been looking for a new car for the last year. I have owned Toyotas for my entire life. I was about to leave Toyota and buy a Hyundai or Ford. I liked the Prius, but it was a bit too big and pricey. I researched the "C." I was so-so about it. Then, I finally saw it in person. It was fantastic. I test drove it. It is an awesome car. Great ride, fantastic MPG, and it is really fun. Love the computer display. Toyota continues to show why it is the best. My only complaint is that there is no left foot rest; you know like an incline next to the break pedal. But, that is my only complaint. It was not enough for me to not buy this car.

Another greate Toyota hybrid

I never write a review , but this time I decide to . This vehicle is excellent for the city and highway . We have Mini Cooper Countryman fully loaded , but i like to drive Prius C more , it is just a great car what can I say more. Buy it you'll see it. It is plenty of room inside , it look small like Yaris , but when you get inside you'll see there is much more space than in Yaris.Cargo area is awesome for this size of vehicle. Very good on gas , better than a regular Prius . Will recommend this car to any one
