Exellent car for family and sports
I bought my PriusV 3 moths ago. I use it for cycling trips and commute to work. I'm really happy with this car. I don't like the Prius design but the wagon design of the PriusV is perfect. I can fit 3 road bikes on the trunk, put 3 kids in the back seat, my wife and I in the front and average 40-45 mpg. The car has 5000 miles and the combine average is 45mpg.

Prius fan
I owned a 2009 Prius and was very happy, but put on a lot of miles and wanted more storage. I thought I might lose fuel economy with the Prius v but I actually jumped from 46 mpg to 48! I do have one issue with the touch screen not working properly. It has been replaced by the dealer but still has an issue. I am confident it will be resolved. I do love the extra storage and the reclining rear seats for the children. And the Power button really allows me to merge quickly when the car needs a boost. The telltale coking of the gas engine cutting out on the 2009 is Ll but gone, and the 20112 is very quiet. Very happy with this choice.

A Great Car
A surprising hybrid. Smooth acceleration. Fast for a hybrid. My wife was passing a truck on a 2 lane road when I noticed we were doing 95 MPH; that was not in the power mode. Interior with leather is comfortable and roomy. Average 40-45 MPG overall. The EV mode is great - in a parking lot or neighborhood I can average 99.9 MPG at 30 MPH. I will buy again and again.

It does better than 43 mpg
I've put 570 miles on my new Prius v3 so far and am getting 48 average mpg. It rides nice and handles great. Got a great price on it - - $25,988. So far, I'm very happy with the purchase!

Tall people fit in a Prius V
We purchased a Prius V because my husband is too tall to fit in the original Prius, which made him into a pretzel. In the "V" he has plenty of leg and head room. I am very short and it works for both of us. It is a win-win situation. I gave it a 4 star for comfort because the passanger seat is not as comfortable as the drivers seat. It would be nice if they were both comfy.

Raves and Pet Peeves
Love the styling, comfort and looks of the V, and especially the gas mileage, 40 to 43 mpg. Not quite quick enough off the line, but making adustments to it. Love the digital readout and positioning of speedometer. HATE the small radio nobs, which are too low and hard to turn. Fisheye backup camera is worthless, too wide of an angle, very difficult to judge distances or even make out what's behind the car. This is our first Prius, and, overall, we love it but it's not quite perfect, yet!

Never thought I would own one but....
What can I say? We walked in to buy a Rav4 and left with this awesome car. My wife picked out her brand new red Prius V last week and we traded my car for it. I now have a nice 2010 Suzuki Kizashi AWD (Also a great car) We LOVE our new Prius V! It's smooth, reliable, incredibly spacious, comfortable, has great standard features, and really doesn't feel as slow as I thought it would. We have 300 miles on it and are getting 42.3 mpg already. Would not be surprised if we hit 45-46mpg once the weather warms up and the car is broken in. Only things we have to get are body side moldings, rear bumper protector, and a hitch for the bike rack. LOVE this car. Perfect vehicle for our growing family. The interior is pure genius with all of its passenger and cargo space and the outside is well....it's a Prius Wagon so it's not super-exciting, but the color is beautiful. As a car nut and performance enthusiast, I was not excited about this vehicle at first, but after driving it, and experiencing it, my mind has changed completely. I owned a stick prior to this, but with all the monitoring hyper-miling that I can do, I don't think I will be bored when I am driving it on long family trips.

I have drove my Prius V for 3,000 miles now and average 46mpg been able to haul a dishwasher, dryer because the back opening is large. I was able to do an emergency transport of 19 small shelter dogs in crates all in one trip with room to see out windows. I had the dash heater lights stay out on a cold day but after 1 hour it came back.
