2019 Rav Hybrid Limited A disappointment so far
I am not a big fan of the exterior styling, but I love the inside. The seats are some of the most comfortable I've experienced. The layout inside is very well designed. The interior noise is a little higher than I had hoped, but not intolerable. I wanted a mid sized SUV that felt more solid than the Honda HRV that I traded that also gets in the upper 30's for gas mileage. The Rav feels very solid on the road. It drives great. The mileage I'm getting so far falls well short of expectation. With a combination of in town and highway driving, I got just over 34 mpg on my first full tank. In town, I'm a reasonable, calm driver. On the highway, I'm driving a steady 75 mph. I did not expect to get 40 mpg. My expectation was 36-37. I'm not sure if mileage improves as the car breaks in?

Hybrid RAV4 LE
I've only had this car a week but it offers quick acceleration, plenty of power and great gas mileage- averaging about 42 MPG in about 60/40 around town/highway driving. Good layout and visibility and pretty quiet on the highway. Handling is good, much better feel for the road than the first generation of the RAV4 hybrid, which I found too light.

Great fuel milage for an AWD SUV
Not what I expected my wife to want. We had the Lexus NX and it was totaled so we needed a new car. The NX Hybrid is only rated for 31 MPG while the RAV4 Hybrid is rated at 41. Comparable comfort, room and features and vastly better fuel milage made it a no-brainer. Very happy so far. Much nicer and quality feeling than previous RAV4s we've driven.

I've owned it for a couple of weeks and love it!
I waited a long time for the 2019 Rav4 Hybrid because I didn't love the way the non-hybrid drove and I wanted the great promised mileage. I haven't driven it enough to know if the mileage will pan out but it drives and handles beautifully. Quiet, good pick-up, good visibility, and safety features.

Hybrid > 8 Speed
I own a 2019 Hybrid RAV4 XLE and am surprised by some of the negative press this vehicle has received. Granted, my previous vehicle was a '00 pickup. The experience is like upgrading from a rowboat to the U.S.S. Enterprise. My last car had a cassette deck! That said, Toyota's new Hybrid RAV4 is an exceptional vehicle. It is also vastly superior to the 8-speed RAV4. I test drove both, and could see why the 8-speed is criticized for being loud and "gravelly." The Hybrid is virtually silent (even for an eCVT), cabin noise is minimal, and engine noise during rapid acceleration is acceptable. During the past month, I've averaged 43-44mpg (better than the advertised mpg) in the city. More than impressive for an SUV/Crossover. Driving a hybrid is not the same as a traditional automatic. There are great videos online that explain how to achieve good fuel efficiency. I recommend the Hybrid RAV4 without reservation. If you're in the market for a RAV4, pay the extra $800 for the hybrid. It's more than worth the upgrade.

Waiting for delivery
From Isuzu Trooper, thence to 3 VW Touaregs, touring Europe on and off road. New Touareg didn't appeal so test drove the new RAV 4 hybrid. Very pleasantly surprised - quiet, sharp acceleration (sharper than the Touareg). Only draw back is wife liked it(wouldn't drive the Touareg)

Adventure model not hybrid
Would have made purchase if lava rock/ice edge roof was available in hybrid, may have dropped down to Le only model to offer same color but no ice edge roof but no factory leather or decent wheel pkg. Come on Mr. toyota hot color combo no hybrid?
