2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid consumer reviews

This car can go offloading, is great at commuting, camping, etc. I love literally everything about it. It can even tow about 1200 lbs which I haven't used yet but that's pretty impressive considering the 50mpg city driving plus off road capability.

My previous car was a Camry, which I loved. The convenience of a SUV for loading and unloading cargo, groceries and golf clubs is wonderful. Getting almost 40 mpg around town.

I absolutely love this 2019 Rav 4 Hybrid. It was a bucket list breaker for me . Exceeded my wildest expectations. Wonderful for long adventure trips which is my passion-enjoying nature to the fullest. This car is sheer adventure/positive Adrenaline for the soul A+++ in every way.

The RAV4 hybrids apparently of 2019 or after (they’re not sure which ones are affected) have reported an issue with the reading of the tank not filling up all the way. This has been a known issue for a few weeks and there is currently no remedy at this moment (January 23). Disappointing.

This is not a good car to drive in Minnesota- while driving in a light snowstorm, all of the safety sensors failed. I had to pull off and clean everything off three times in an hour long drive. The way the hatch is designed, if ice or snow is on the top of the car, it won’t open. It gets HORRIBLE gas mileage in the winter- I’m talking 19 mpg and I consistently get 80-90 for my eco-score, so I don’t think it’s me. Finally, today we got an error message saying the hybrid system failed. So we need to take our less than six month old car to the dealer.

This car had every item on my must have list and more! It's beautiful, drives like a dream, and gets 40 MILES TO A GALLON OF GAS! You won't go wrong with this car! Love it!

Comfortable, powerful, easy to handle, very economical and nicely thought through and built. I got 2019 Limited RAV4, and I am fascinated. I even bought less fancy hybrid RAV4 edition for my son’s 21st birthday within few months after buying mine. We both love our cars!

It is a great vehicle, but due to low inventory, and currently not much competition within the hybrid SUV market; demand has been too high. It will be interesting to see what happens when the Hybrid Cr-V enters the market. Factory package options are limited and faux leathers is only available in the two highest trim options seems like a waste. The car ran great and I am still in the market, but waiting for the new car design to decrease in price.

This car a a perfect blend of styling, efficiency (40 mph), performance in snow, overall performance (219 hp), safety (extensive list of safety features- all standard) and fun to drive. With Toyotas reputation for long term reliability, I believe we will be together a long time.
