Stay way away fro Toyota

Had this car 6 months and still have major issues with the design flaw Toyota created with the fueling issue. I'm not alone with this problem many have filed a case number as I did only to be ignored by Toyota after spending $34,000. Seriously consider and make before purchasing one on these pieces of garbage.

Most reliable car

This car is like a luxury vehicle at an affordable price. It has all the bells and whistles, lane departure alert, rear view camera, blind spot alert, heated seats and wheel, etc... it’s very reliable on the road and very steady. A great car.

Excellent value and styling.

Storage is excellent, and I really like the power of the hybrid when you need to have it there. Gas milage isn't as good for me as is stated 39/41, but I an getting 38.2 and live in area with hills and take many short trips. Toyota could have offered more of a selection in colors, and the new ones that they had are the flat paint and I don't like that look. I would have liked to see more solid bumpers and a towing package that was hidden in bumper. Some times the notices about extras is annoying. Also the instrument information like out side temp, is hard to read as it is small in size.

Great car, tech could be improved

The RAV4 XSE hybrid is a great car for the money. With the new redesign this year, there wasn’t a better SUV that offered the hybrid option. The only fault is the technology of this vehicle. The apps, voice assistant, and phone connectivity need improvement. Otherwise, all the options in the XSE are worth the price.

Nowhere near prjected MPG

I have owned my RAV4 Limited hybrid for 1 month / 600 miles. I m averaging 31 MPG on econ mode, FAR FARbelow projected and what others are getting. I don't jump into starts, don't do anything crazy, my 500 miles includes 2 ~200 mile trips. Haven't taken it to the dealer yet but the high fuel economy is THE reason I settled on this car and I can't begin to express how disappointed I am. Other than that I really love this car. I wish designers had taken more advantage of potential storage spaces (doors or example), and the interior light button is easily missed in favor of the moon roof button. Other than that no other complaints. I will be taking my Rav4 to the dealer to figure out why I am getting such abysmal fuel economy--seems everyone else is doing much better and I consider this a serious flaw in the car I got.

Great vehicle to purchase

We purchased this vehicle because it was a hybrid and it had the Cold Weather Package. We are discovering little things every week that we like about our choice, and some things that Toyota could have done differently to make it even better, in our opinion.

Great vehicle

Love the car. Average 45 mpg. Just one problem. Gas tank reads empty and 25 miles remaing. But only takes 9.5 gal of gas to read full. Tank is 14.5 gal. Something is wrong. Can't have a 5 gal reserve.

Details, details

The XLE Hybrid 2019 is very comfortable to drive. It's quiet, takes the bumps well, has great headlights, climate control is so far great. We'll see how it is when the weather gets really cold. I bought this the last part of September 2019 and the color selection was pitiful-gray, black, or silver. So far, I don't like the infotainment system. Maybe I will get used to it. Speakers sound good. My biggest complaint is why, why, why didn't they make more of the control buttons such as interior lights illuminated? Until one memorizes the positions of the buttons I guarantee you that you will open the moon roof when trying to turn on the interior light in the dark. If it's dark enough to need the light don't you engineers think we need a little help to find that little button? Same thing on the side mirrors. Also, I think a really quality car should have a hydraulic jack, not those terrible "screw jacks" that all of them, not just toyota, put in these days (or they don't have one at all). Acceleration is decent, visibility is good, driving position is comfortable. I am not of the tech savy generation so there are way too many steps to take to find out fuel mileage, driving lane assist, collision warning, etc. etc., and even the cruise control is a little tricky. Too many buttons while trying to keep your eyes on the road. But, that is life in the new car generation, I guess. Overall, I like it quite well and am glad I got it.

I totally fell in love with this car and can’t ima

I totally love this car! It is so comfortable that I don’t want to drive anything else! It drives so smooth that you don’t feel the bumps all over this states roads! I became one that didn’t care much for going away much anymore but now I’m back to loving the road and getting out of the house this car is amazing and has every feature in it you can possibly want! I no longer want to sit home doing nothing, bring on the fun and let’s live life again! I can’t wait to go to the concerts that my son and I already have tickets to! This car is such an upgrade from my 2007 Toyota Even my son is loving it!
