What choice do we have no Ford Ranger
The Toyota Tacoma is adequate at best. The choices are really limited in the small pick-up truck area. So you have to settle for the Tacoma.

Feels like a mid size truck, looks bigger
I did not want big nor did I want small so I looked and drove the Tacoma. I uses this for Work (citrus/Ag) and play, pulling a boat. Has plenty of room to take people in and pulls the boat very well.

2013 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab TRD Sport
After lengthy research I purchased the 2013 Tacoma Double cab V-6. The ride was so smooth I had a hard time believing I was driving a truck. It also handles exceptionaly well for a truck. The seats are also very comfortable. This truck is a perfect combination for anyone who needs towing, hauling and passenger needs all in one vehicle. The only knock is the stereo system/radio. The base radio is not very good and lacks navigation or anything else for that matter. The bluetooth is nice but that is really it in regards to the stereo. The interior of the truck is a little dated but nice. If Toyota gave this truck a better radio and more features inside the cab I would give it 5 stars all the way around.

great truck (so far)
just bought a 2013 tacoma tss 4x4, great ride real quite and plenty of power. so far gas mileage seems fair i traded in a 2011 chevy colorado 4x2 and it gets around the same mpg. inside is roomy comfortable loving the touch screen stereo and blue tooth lots of in cab storage room and sits high which i love. i 've owned a toyota tacoma before and if this one lastest half as long as my first one did then will be a heck of a truck. i thought it was a little pricey but didn't mind to much knowing i would be getting the reliability of a toyota

tuff little truck
Have had a couple 5 speed toyotas. Always very gutsy. Tuff, dependable, durable. And always fairly uncomfortable seats. Why high quality seats can't be standard equipment I'll never understand.

Tough work truck by day, date night ride at night
This truck has plenty of power to haul my equipment and crew to work sites. The seat comfort and features make it a cool ride for a night on the town. The Stereo has great sound and hands free phone capabilities are a plus. Also the back up camera is a nice touch. I added a tonneau cover to finish off the look. It's a real head turner. I look forward to years of happy driving.

Needs Basics !
2013 Tacoma crew cab , short bed Tss package,4x4. This truck leaves off a lot of things that are standard on other trucks ! No oil pressure or amp meter gauge, THIS IS A TRUCK !! extra cost for intermittant wipers , no blind spot mirror on passenger side , no heated mirrors , no map pockets on seat backs, all switches on dash should be back lit ! Hood weighs a TON ! Bed is very slick , anything in bed needs to be tied down . But not a bad driver though .

2013 Tacoma V6 SR5 PreRunner Texas Edition!
Bought this truck brand new - had an 08 Tundra Crewmax and although I miss the interior space and the power, the Tacoma's legendary reliability, comfort, gas mileage, solid resale value and maneuvariblity wins - hands down. I'm not sure what the first reviewer mentioned, the truck sounds badass when you turn it on and it doesn't bother me when I turn it off, I'm actually sad because the ride is over. The Tacoma hasn't had much exterior changes since the initial redesign but the facelift on the 2012+ models give it a meaner look, especially with the Texas edition wheels and badging. Interior is roomy, nothing like a Tundra but it fits my family of four, no trouble fitting 2 car seats in the back and the wife loves the truck alot better, she basically said its the perfect "dad truck" - lol, love my truck - plan on keeping this one until the wheels fall off.
