2006 Toyota Tundra consumer reviews

As I began my search for a nice pick up, I wasn't married to any brand...just something reliable and nice looking. My favorites were Tundra and F150. I'm a weekend driver and good for 2 cross country road trips so higher mileage didn't bother me. I found a 2006 Tundra double cab, 1 owner, with only 58xxx miles for $12,000. I thought it was a very fair price and amazed of the condition and basic amenities. I was really drawn to the 4.7 V8's reliability ratings and seeing some with up to 600k miles still selling for about 1/2 of what I paid. It's comfortable and fits the family just fine. This body style isn't as roomy as the 2007+ but for the truck, low miles, reliability ratings and price...I couldn't ask for more.

This truck has been the most comfortable and reliable vehicle for our family, bought almost twelve years ago and I have never needed to do any work to it except keeping the fluids changes and checked regularly. I would never give up this truck, except life happens and its what happens. I will miss it and I am scared I wont find another as good.

This truck fullfil all the requirements, reliable, confort, towing capacity, is everything you expect from a truck and more, I fell in love with this truck since day one.

In 11 years of ownership this truck has not ever let me down or cost me extra money due to repairs or failure.

This is a big tough truck! Comfy inside although not 100% ergonomic and could use more storage spaces. I habe the base model and it's a good work truck amd looks nice but just not a comfy Buick if you lnow what I mean. Recommended for tough work!

For the low price of $14,000, it's a great truck. No complaints as of now on the interior, exterior or performance.

Excellent truck that's dependable, powerful, spacious, economical, stylish, etc. I wish I owned a brand new one, I would highly recommend and I currently do recommend this truck. Best I ever owned.
