One of the most comfortable vehicle I?ve owned

This truck is one of the most comfortable ones that I have owned. It rides as good as a car but has the benefits of a fantastic truck

Very reliable, large back seats with alot of room.

This Truck is great, Love that the back window rolls all the way down, alot of leg room in the front and back, up to date technology, and very easy driving. Love it!!

I bought it in late 2017 and haven't looked back.

I've been a pick up driver almost all of my married life (38 years}. I originally wanted a Tacoma or a 4=Runner, The Tacomas are coming out in the 4-door models only now, and after tying to sit in the back seat, this was obviously not for me. Then I looked at the 4-Runner. Compared to the Tundra, it was just more money than I wanted to spend. So I then moved on to the Tundra. In comparing costs, I found that the CrewMax could be found for the same price if not cheaper than the standard 4-door cab, so I shopped for the CrewMax. The back seat was the first thing I looked at. I stand 6'-7.5" tall. I had enough legroom in the back to hold a square dance. Of course that space is robbed from the bed length, so be prepared to lose some cargo space. In a way, I'd like to have an 8' bed, but on the flipside, I don't have as far to reach for stuff in the nose of the bed. That's a big plus since I added a topper. The 5.8L V-8 has enough power to get me into trouble. The 4-wheel drive is a bit tricky, you have to determine often on the fly if you want to lock out the differentials with the flick of a switch or not. I was driving up an iced over mountain road when it became obvious that I needed 4-wheel drive. I clicked it on and the front drive started chattering as the computer tried to adjust which caused me to slide towards the edge of the road. I flipped the switch to lock the axles and the truck straightened itself up like a needle in a record groove. Mine has the 20" tires and wheels as well as the 38- gallon gas tank, it's the TRD model. I like the added size of the gas tank, though it makes for a chunk of change to spend on trips when filling up. The fuel mileage is WAY BETTER than what I was getting with my Dodge Ram 1500 Quad-Cab 4x4. On a recent trip to Branson, MO, I almost got 19 miles per gallon! My Dodge NEVER did that good. I also love being able to stick a zip drive into the dash to play my favorite tunes from. I love the roll-down rear cab window. With the addition of a topper, I can leave that window open to help keep the cab from getting hot providing there's no rain or wind. My truck also came with the tow package, which includes a controller for electric trailer brakes. I may never pull a trailer, but it's nice to know that I have the trailer package already. Cons: The SatNav stinks! I come from a Garmin world. The SatNav is difficult if not impossible to use in my opinion, and map updates must be purchased at the dealership. Why? It's useless! Google maps on my cell phone is easier to use and better than what Toyota puts in these trucks, and it updates automatically for free! And I have since found an app that does better for free as well. The fog lamps that came on my Tundra are factory adjusted way too low to be of any earthly good. I had to adjust mine immediately. Storage inside the cab leaves a lot to be desired. There is a lot of padding and insulation under the back bench seat that could be used for storage. As a matter of fact, there are kits available on Amazon that you can use to create this space. The cover for the transmission tunnel on the floor shift variants could also be modified with accessory storage compartments The cover may look stylish, but it eats up a lot of real estate. I wish I could have gotten a bench seat instead of buckets for the same price or less. The front mud flaps in front of the front wheels warp very fast. If you cut your wheels one way or the other, they will rub on the flaps, leading to much excitement to the driver. I'd like to see a flat top for the center console. I bought a cover for it and filled in the hole with some high density foam. I was surprised to see that no interior floor mats were offered with my Tundra. A quick search on Amazon turned up some floor mats that were way better than the ones the dealership sold anyway.

3rd Tundra maybe my last

Loved the first two I purchased since 2007..The 2017 has had starting issues since 6 months ago.. when the motor is warm is turns over way to long. Amarillo dealer just charged me for a 1200 $ charcoal fither and said the flatbed I put on it was the problem.. Its a truck maybe go back to bulding all cars or get dealers that can solve the problem.. 27,000 miles on it now..not even broke in..just broke

Great truck

The truck overall is excellent. It?s huge so it?s hard to park but the camera helps. Very comfortable and drives great. Powerful with a V8 5.6 L engine. The shocks aren?t so great when I?m on a bumpy road the truck vibrates badly. The truck also guzzles gas like no tomorrow. Even driving economically. It loves gas. But overall an excellent truck

Sure footed on ice and snow, and I can haul just a

My first full size pickup, and I love it. Powerful V8, roomie, reliable and handles fantastic on ice and snow in the harsh New England Winters. I feel very comfortable driving this car in every situation, and I feel a lot safer than I did in my smaller vehicles.

Tundra Crew cab

We purchased this truck a couple months ago for hauling our RV Trailer. It has tons of power and looks great, but compared to other trucks, there's a few bells and whistles missing. It's very comfortable and has lots of leg room in the front. The back seat is comfortable too, even for a tall guy like myself, but seems a bit closed in. The few nit-picky things that bug me are the lack of extra storage in the front. We got the bench seat because we have small dogs that ride with us. The problem is, with the center part up, it eliminates the cup holders and storage. The glove compartment is also poorly designed. The bottom is flat, like a book shelf. Not very good for holding stuff in, especially in a moving vehicle. Also, my Tacoma had a built in power Inverter, which this truck is lacking. Those minor complaints aside, I do love this truck. My favorite things: The power, built in trailer brakes, back up camera, headlight adjustment, Bluetooth connectivity, and navigation (although google maps is much better than what ever Toyota uses). The best part is, I know this truck will hold its value way better than any other truck out there. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this truck again.
