It is designed nice and has not failed me.

I, really, like this car. It is easy to get in and out of. It's comfy. Drives smooth and has pick up when needed. It is a 2002 and going strong!!! A+ car.

Great wagon, very economical

This has been a daily driver for 15 years and has only required one major unpredictable repair. The TDI engine lacks a lot of power but if you have patience in accelerating the fuel economy is terrific.

Most reliable car I had

Never had a problem. I ran it for the last 3 years without any service except oil change and at the last check it needed just the basic maintenance.

Perfect first car !

I got a Volkswagen Jetta for my first car when I was 17 years old. I would commute from school to work every day with no problems ever. It was great on gas and drove very smoothly. There's a lot of room for being a sedan & a lot of trunk space. I sold the car when I decided to buy a newer car, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone

Amazing car to sport around

Comfortable and sporty lots of fun to have and drive. Volkswagen lives up to the name when it comes to style and engine value.

Most reliable car

A great reliable car with good mileage. It was my first car. I mostly drove it to work and school every day. Unfortunately the time has come for me to sell it since I will be moving to Chicago in July and will no longer need a car.

Fun to drive with great fuel economy.

Our Volkswagen Jetta TDI has been a fun car to drive with awesome fuel economy. With typical European attention to a quality driving experience and unmatched fuel economy for the era of this car, it has been worth the higher maintenance required by Volkswagen. Example , frequent timing belt changes and the higher price of Bosch parts.

She lived a long, good life

We bought our 2.0 GLS new off the lot 13.5 years ago. After getting through the car's idiosyncrasies in the first couple years (driver's window staying down, among other odd quirks), the car has been incredibly cheap to own through 237,000 miles. The leather seats and great sound system made for countless comfortable commutes. She survived two deer impacts with little more than a dented fender. And, the 27 MPG at the pump is still as dependable as the IRS. All told, we've spent $4,000 in repairs since we paid the loan 10 years ago (tires, timing belt, suspension refresh, compressor)...if that's not reliable, I don't know what is. Good car, great value.

Rest in Peace

I was the second owner of a 1.8 liter turbo Jetta. It is a great little car. Its just fun enough to feel fast, always reliable and very practical. It was just totaled today and I am grateful to have been this car. Anything smaller and I would probably not be writing this. This is a great car, and I just want you all to know.
