Road trip galore
This car has everything I was looking for a bonus with it being a diesel. Gas mileage is crazy high and well worth the buy.

Third Jetta
Third Jetta I've owned since 1989. Last of the 2.0L 8V non-turbo (Mk6). Avg 30MPG with 5 speed manual. No Bluetooth - solved with $10 gadget in 12v lighter plug and AUX cable. This is a reliable and *serviceable* car.

Love my jetta
I’ve been reading the bad reviews of this vehicle here and it seems every issue the complaints are about are owner caused issues with people trying to push them off on the dealer. The bad gas mileage is caused by different driving styles , if I drive like a a***hole for lack of better words, my Jetta will get about 14 mpg, when I drive like a normal human, shifting at around 1300 or so rpm this thing gets up to 34 mpg. 34 MPG. Better then my Honda Civic, another complaint was a man whose cooling system went and that’s caused by filling the car with the incorrect coolant, autozone claims certain coolant is for certain cars and there wrong LOL then people listen to autozone and wonder why there cooling system starts leaking. GERMAN. CARS. ARE. VERY. SENSITIVE. so please do your research before deciding to buy a German vehicle, this is not the car that can break down on the side of the road and you can pull into a gas station to pick up oil and coolant. Not a German vehicle, sorry friends! There vehicles are designed to work within very tight parameters to make your driving experience as best as humanly possible which means you can’t skip out or go cheap with service and maintenance, the smarter the car the easier to break, most issues people report with German vehicles are due to consumers not understanding they are not your average Hyundai or Honda and they CANNOT be treated that way. If you follow what VW says to maintain the vehicle you will not have one issue. I’ve had over 5 jettas all over 200k , why? Because I am knowledgeable as to how to treat and drive a German vehicle, get a Jetta, do what VW tells you and you’ll have a Jetta for the rest of your life

So far it has been a very good car
It’s a practical vehicle. I like the radio, power windows/locks. I’m disappointed that it is NOT Bluetooth ready especially for a 2014. Good gas mileage. Not as comfortable as I’d hoped.
