2014 Volkswagen Jetta consumer reviews

It?s the longest model of a Volkswagen that I have kept. I?ve had a Rabbit, Tiguan, and this Jetta. I like the Jetta because it?s been reliable and keeps consistent good gas mileage. I drive a lot for work so it?s nice to have something reliable and confortable.

Comfortable, plenty of power from the 1.8 liter turbo, great mileage, handles very well on the freeway as well as surface streets, adequate equipment for a basic model.

This car is very comfortable and smooth riding. It has good gas mileage because it takes diesel gas. It also is roomy on the inside and handles well.

The GLI is the best car by far. I am a car salesman and have never found a car better. The quality and performance is unmatched. If you can find a GLI Edition 30 get it!

Amazing car. Very stylish inside, comfortable, and very quick. Fun car for the price. I never had any issues with it. I had it for 50,000 miles and then sold it because I was moving.

The ignition switch was stiff when new but the hangs up more and more. Now it takes a lot of jiggling of the switch and steering wheel in hopes that something will allow the switch to turn. Rear widow regulator broke. The radio electronics failed and the embedded computer stopped booting up. No entertainment system, no GPS after that.

This is a fun car to drive and also a very economic gas saving one when needed by having the 1.8 turbo engine and the sport option.

Needed something fuel efficient and comfortable. Didn't think of a VW until I test drove one. After test driving a few, found a certified pre-owned that sealed the deal. It's comfortable, gets the gas mileage I was looking for and rides very smooth. Very happy with my decision to go with the Jetta.
