I worked with Scott Mortland and Herold Samour. Scott was so patient and nice- going through all options and reviewing differences in each van. He did not pressure and really made me feel comfortable. He took his time and 100% sure I had everything I needed before I drove the car off of the lot. Then, as I started the financing process, I worked with Herold. I realized through our meeting that he sold me my very first car 17 years ago! Of course, I had a good experience with him back then and again for this purchase. It was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had and I will definitely return to Krieger Ford for future personal and business purchases. I highly recommend this team. I spoke with Jeff from my home 2.5 hours away about a car on their lot. I don't normally buy cars so far away but was impressed with the cars.com customer ratings for Village Car Store, and they had a specialty car I was interested in. Jeff was friendly and professional. He explained how that car was acquired and how they buy cars in general, so I decided to dedicate a day to checking it out.
As I inspected the car, I detected a coolant leak, along with another potential problem. I intended to walk away, but Jeff very professionally investigated with me the concerns I raised. They made a lift available to check out the problem on the spot. We both researched likely costs for the repair. Since I could not take another day off to return for the car later, they reduced the price of the car by the cost of the estimates for the repair and I drove it home that day.

We have been to many dealerships over the last 20 years and not all experiences have been good. John Hinderer was one of the good ones. We told them up front we would be honest and we asked the same from them. We felt like they delivered on that promise and we didn't feel pressured at all. We would definitely go back and we would definitely recommend them to everyone. Our salesman Dustin Boucher was great otherwise it wouldn't have went any farther. Shawn McMahan is an awesome person. I came into the dealership twice looking for a car. My first visit was unsuccessful because I did not have the down payment. Shawn was incredibly understanding with my situation and tried very hard to get the lowest down payment possible. Once I found the car, I told him that I would be back in a few weeks with the down payment. He touched base with me once, but wasn't pushy and seemed genuinely concerned about my situation. On my second stop in, again, it seemed that the odds were against me. He went above and beyond to insure that I left with a car. I would HIGHLY recommend him to any of my family members and friends. I walked into the dealership to test drive an RDX and within 15 minutes, I'm on the road. When I returned, we talked numbers on both the car I purchased as well as the one I traded. Wasn't any BS that I've encountered at other dealerships--their offer on my car was fair and I paid $250 more than I wanted to for their car. Done deal, I was home in 3 hours from the point the odyssey started!
