Audi A5 Owner

I was very pleased with the service provided my service adviser - Dominic Cappucci- at Hunt Valley Audi. Since owning my A5 Cabrio, it was losing about a quart of oil in between service visits. My dealer always provided complimentary top-offs, which were greatly appreciated. However, until Dominic recently served as my adviser, I was unaware that my make/model was the subject of a class action suit, the settlement of which provided for a free investigation and repair of a potential cause for my loss of oil. For some reason, I never received notification of that circumstance and ran the risk of falling outside the time period by which the subject warranty work would have been offered. Why this was never brought to my attention by service advisers who worked for the dealerships past ownership is another matter. Regardless, Dominic was completely familiar with the technical issues and promptly began the process of effecting preemptive parts replacements and will monitor my oil consumption to determine if the provided warranty work addressed the problem or further service is indicated.
