Used 2017 BMW X5 eDrive for Sale in Naperville, IL

This car serves all my wants and needs in an suv. Fun to drive, stylish, plenty of horsepower and great fuel economy. It's so light and responsive at the wheel. It handles like a sports car, but has the fuel efficiency of a Honda Civic. The electric battery comes in handy driving in town or stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. Very comfortable ride. My family love this car. I would recommend a test drive to really appreciate this car.

I was referred to Perillo BMW when considering a trade in at the end of my current 3/yr lease. I was greeted immediately, given laser focus, undivided attention. I expressed that my needs had changed a year ago due to a career move to real estate and that I had been vacillating between replacing my 300 series convertible, as I desired, or getting an SUV as I "should". They listened, they asked me several clarifying questions and the solution became clear, and I selected a larger 400 series convertible which fits my lifestyle and my new business. My financing needed attention since I was in the early stages of my start up company, they worked diligently and it was remarkable smooth and swift. I would recommend this dealer 10 times.

I have been searching for my dream car for over a year and have dealt with private sellers, low and high volume dealerships and some of the worst customer service you could possibly imagine. My search included over twelve states and twenty dealerships. I have to be honest, when I reached out to Ziegler my optimism was at an all-time low and I was ready to call it quits. I first made contact with Kyle Nagy from the sales department. Kyle was very prompt in responding and following up to my inquiries. Knowing exactly what I wanted, I made numerous requests and inquiries that most salespeople would have thought of as burdensome. Kyle always delivered and maintained his professionalism even in the most heated of discussions. When I returned to close the deal I noted that even Ziegler’s shuttle driver was a class act who shared a wealth of stories, pictures, and knowledge about cars. The *only* complaint I would have is that I was not informed that BMW ConnectedDrive would be discontinued on my car only a couple of months after my purchase. This rendered most of the safety features useless and absolutely would have been nice to know beforehand. Aside from that, I would recommend this dealership based on their promptness, professionalism, and inspiring inventory.

In if the car is very comfortable and my kids love the design, it is spacious and easy to handle, i feel very safe in it.

Bought largely in part to capture the tax credit prior to the trump bump. But impressed by the EV component . Six months in, still on the third tank of gas. That's over 3 hours saved from not having to stop for gas. Do you realize a 10 minute link to stop for gas per week is over 6 hours lost a year?. This is HUGE for this forty-something mid-manager with a family of three active kids. 6000 miles on less than 3 fill-ups (less than 60 gallons consumed / consistently over 100 mpg) - happy, happy consumer.

Working with Bridget Marley was a great experience. After a few minutes of speaking with her I was very comfortable. She was honest with me and answered all my questions. She listened to what I wanted and didn't force her opinion on me which made the car buying process so much easier. I really enjoyed her speaking to me about her first car. I like the interaction with everyone I came in contact with at this dealership... My 2004, 530 has over 200,000 miles and runs great... It's time for an upgrade:) This is the place I will shop for that newer vehicle as I have to stay with BMW:)

BMW x5m serviced and maintenenced multiple times here, never returned for the same problem twice. Staff very friendly. They have helped facilitate several warranty and recalled issues on top of the primary repair. Honestly, couldn't say anything about facility because eveytime I have a loaner waiting for me, so never need to sit down inside, I'm sure it's nice though.

The car I purchased was 2016 Z06/7; I had been shopping for several months to find the right value/ price. When I saw the car on EBay I immediately knew the price was right but my conscience wouldn't allow me to spend that kind of $ without seeing the car in person first. We took a drive from Wisconsin, the car looked as good as described and their inventory of high end automobiles was top notch. The sales person I dealt with (Eric) was a true car guy not a car salesman, there is a difference. Before agreeing on a price Eric introduced me to the owner (Parin) and gave me and my wife a tour of their inventory. In performance terms some of their stuff is really "over the top". Overall I feel I received a better than fair price & had great experience working with knowledgeable people.

It’s PERFECTION! It a very smooth ride and handles effortlessly. I’m spoiled for life. It’s such a pleasure to drive. I now like drive. It’s such a spacious vehicle inside even the passengers love the space.

I just purchased my 5th X5 since 2004, this, new and updated version of the BMW X5 is sleeker, faster, hugs the road and is wonderfully comfortable. Gas mileage has improved to 20mph - really a superb vehicle all around.

As I was walking up to the door Nick opened it for us, greeted us, and immediately introduced himself. We were there for a specific car (2013 Cadillac Ats) he found it on the lot and we were off for a test drive. He answered questions and working with him was a pleasure. We were in and out in about an hour and a half including the test drive. I bought the car and it was a great experience.

The right size SUV for my growing family. Very comfortable especially for a long drive and lots of room front and back. Has twin turbo, equipped with navigation and backup camera all features my hubby loves. I am up higher compare to my 2016 RAV4 and feels really really comfortable.

I cannot compliment enough Jason Goetz, the Client Advisor at BMW, that assisted me in finding a new car. Of course it is always exciting to get a new car but it can be a very long drawn out tedious process. Jason prepared prior to my arrival, knowing that I had time restraints and family responsibilities. He was able to really focus on what was important and make the whole experience very smooth. He and all the staff - the finance department, the service staff, and all those involved behind the scenes in purchasing a new car- really pulled together so that I could wrap things up most efficiently. Jason also really worked to secure a good deal for me. He and Alex Lebdeh were incredible and I would recommend them and Perillo without hesitation.

I Was expecting better mileage than my previous 2013 X5 Diesel. Electric mode is quickly drained going short distances and far from the advertised 52 mpg. Considering the difference in cost and some functionality, the X5 Diesel is a better option. The engine light has come on 4X’s after less than 4000 miles, consequently it has been in Service for weeks at a time and they were unable to diagnosis the problem. Needless to say I am concerned on reliability to drive the car a long distance.

Swap was an easy process and took the anxiety out of selling my car myself. After the inspection they listed my car quickly and for a great price. The system was easy to use when inquiries started coming in and the swap team made sure both the buyer and I had all of the documentation we needed to legally hand things over. If you have an older car and aren't looking to trade it in (which was my case), Swap is a great choice!

Needed a larger car to accommodate my growing family. But also wanted something on the fuel-efficient side. There are very few plug in or fully electric SUVs (Mercedes, Volvo, Tesla, BMW). The X5 40e has been tremendous - it's plenty peppy, allows all electric driving around town (I'm getting 12-15 miles on the battery). For commutes under 40 miles, if you need an SUV, you should consider this. My only two fill ups (in 3 months of driving) have shown 29 and 37 MPG, respectively. The more short trips you do, the better.

This review is for the non-M-package X5 40e. Good first attempt at a Hybrid SUV for BMW but needs refinement to reach greatness. If your commute is around 12 miles a trip with a charger at each stop you can theoretically never fill up with gas which is a fantastic proposition. I've managed 41mpg (870 miles with one tank), but I've also managed 26mpg when I had to mix in a lot of highway driving (I drive very conservatively). The 4-cylinder turbo is a far cry from anything VW group makes - a coarse almost dieselesque feeling unrefined 4-cylinder that could benefit from more horsepower and smoother operation for this 70k 5000lbs+ beast. Keep this thing charged to benefit from the additional punch from the electric motor to keep it moving at an acceptable pace. On the topic of charging, it definitely is on the slower end of the spectrum. The suspension needs to be honed in, the additional weight of this car due to the battery coupled with the soft suspension creates a tidal wave effect when going over uneven surfaces and the body roll in the twisties is more than BMW should have ever allowed. The seats are best suited for small trips, after an hour of driving they get uncomfortable and I find myself shifting around a lot to find comfort. Both exterior and especially interior are showing their age, although a very handsome exterior it's definitely time for the update that's around the corner. The i-drive system is the best it's ever been, unfortunately BMW's slightly convoluted HVAC system isn't the best one on the market, VW/Audi are the masters of cold and hot air on demand from my experience. The amount of noise in relation to the amount of cooling and heating you get in the X5 is off...by a lot. Rear seat room is great, cargo space is good, even though you give up some trunk volume due to the battery it hasn't affected me negatively one bit. The tailgate I absolutely love having, as a photographer it's been awesome to be able to work out of my trunk when needed. The car is a good lease option for anyone in the market that needs an X5 and wants to capitalize on the hybrid benefits. Here's hoping the next gen addresses the issues and I'm sure they'll have a winner on their hands.
