Callon and Dean made this buying experience wonderful!

I was in the unexpected circumstance of having to buy a new-to-me (gently used) vehicle that had to meet the unique needs of my family, and I had to do it alone. My family of four were all too busy to come with me. We have two very tall family members and I had narrowed my choices down to two make/models, GMC Terrain and Chevy Equinox. I found several on various online sites, but each time I went to see them in person I was disappointed by the vehicles, I was losing hope of finding what we needed. When I saw the description of the 2015 V6 Equinox online, it sounded a little too good to be true. I called beforehand to make sure the vehicle listed was available and both the woman answering and Callon Tolbert were quick and professional. The vehicle was on the lot, and Callon had the keys for when I wanted to come in. I left within a half hour and in that time I received a confirmation call and then a text while I was driving over. When I arrived, Callon had been called away for other matters (he'd texted to make sure I was taken care of), but Dean Rhodes greeted me, located the keys immediately, and took me on a test drive of the one vehicle I was interested in. The vehicle was exactly as described, what a relief! If Dean hadn't taken the time to be such a good team player I may have talked myself out of buying today... there are a lot of confusing and tiring details to car buying that were making me feel like giving up. Dean was knowledgeable and friendly. As we arrived back at the dealership, and Callon was available, I never felt like there was any angry competition, it felt like a team! That's very important to me. It felt like the dealership was in the business of keeping me in a car, and I appreciate that a lot... I know less than I should about such a vital part of my life, my vehicle, so I really like being able to depend on honest, hard-working people who DO know cars and trucks. The pricing was the next step, Cal took the time to explain everything to me and waited patiently while I communicated with my family members that couldn't make it to the dealership today. It never felt like anyone was trying to 'trick' me, but instead it felt like everyone was working to help me get the best deal they were able to provide. We settled on a price and financing that worked for everyone, and I'm happy with the quality for the price. Even the gentleman who explained the warranty to me was patient and easy to talk to. I didn't feel pressured, I felt informed. I drove away in a very clean SUV with a full tank of gas. The only thing I was worried about was learning about my new vehicle! It was a load off my shoulders. Getting the right SUV at the right price matters, but feeling trust in the team who made it happen gives me the confidence to not second guess myself. I wasn't alone after all!
