Test drove both the V4 with turbos, don't bother...it's too big of a vehicle and takes 10 years to get up to highway speed. The V6 is much better fit for the size. Very roomy, excellent cargo space. Plenty of leg room in the back seat. I took out the SEL and Titanium and the leather is sharp and nav is easy to use. Prices seem very reasonable for the options you get. My only watch out is that this is a SUV not a cross over. Felt more like my husbands F150 than my Rav4.
Frankly... we don???t like shopping for new cars because of pushy sales and cost negotiations. This time was much different!! We greatly appreciated Matt not pressuring and overwhelming us with sales tactics to make a sale. No price haggling as we believe they gave us bottom-line cost based on our research prior to shopping. We love our new Mazda CX-9 and will suggest that friends visit Matt Tillapaugh when car shopping!! Thanks, Matt

I wanted a comfortable car in my older years but also needed hauling capacity. The Edge gives me everything I need and want. It’s a luxury car but it has 4WD for safety and I just love it.
I hate car shopping. This was the year I had to take the plunge. I found the perfect car and working with Matt at O'Daniel Automart made the process painless. A Fort Wayne's round- about forced a second opportunity. Again Matt helped me find a lovely replacement quickly but when I realized the car was just not me he came through third time and I am very happy with my car and my experiences with Matt and O'Daniel Auto Mart. I would call on them again but hope it will be a while down the road.

The Edge is a quiet, smooth ride. Love taking this vehicle for extended destinations, because the leather seats are so comfortable.
The brakes are EXTREMELY touchy. I spoke to the dealership and the man I spoke to said his wife has the same vehicle and this is her complaint also. When the brake pads are cold, even if tippy barely touch them you stop suddenly.
Wasn't looking forward to car shopping on my budget, but the team at O'Daniel helped me find exactly what I needed! Everything was explained very well. They were patient with my questions and I never felt pressured into buying, which seems rare for most car places. Overall great experience!

This the best looking vehicle around. The comfort of the interior is exquisite. I fell in love with the Ford edge titanium when I first saw it online, but to drive it was a dream. I still think about vehicle everyday.
Very quick and simple. Highly enjoyable experience, no pressure, they just want you to be satisfied and be back on the road as soon as possible

I absolutely love my new edge sport! Tons of features including lane keeping assistance and rain sensing wipers, killer sound system, and beautiful black accents on the grill and wheels! I highly recommend owning one!
I made an appointment, confirmed the appointment when I arrived on time it was the guys day off. So they passed me to someone I had not been discussing my wants with. I explained I had $32,000 to work with. They could have said "we cant help you" And it would have been no hard feelings and I would have been on my way. instead the kept me for 30mins. then came back with 34,500 and said they were loosing money on that. So I got up and left. First off they arent going to sell you a truck at a loss. Otherwise they wouldnt have a job. Secondly there is the sticker price, then the invoice price then the dealer cost. When they say they are selling you something at invoice they are still making $2-3,000 profit due to the dealer holdback and dealer incentive monies. I dont do games, I know what I want I know what I have to spend and I tell them so. either they can deal with that or they cant. I didnt appreciate their games.

My wife and I recently needed to purchase a new minivan for our family. Honestly, we weren???t looking forward to it - we were overwhelmed and a bit stressed... and the timing for our family budget was rough. We had heard great things about the New Haven O???Daniel Ford, so we decided to at least try to talk to someone. My sister recommended Mike Pocci, and she was 100% accurate. Mike was genuine, kind, and very knowledgeable. He did not try to get us in a more expensive car. He stayed in our budget. He kept in contact with us through text and calls the next free days before we officially signed. We also worked with Ryan Keebler and Mike Everton, and we couldn???t have been more impressed. Everyone was upfront and honest. They all communicated with us throughout the process. This team made this potentially stressful situation easy and even enjoyable! The ride is nice, great for long distance driving. The size of the car is exactly what I needed since I have a disabled child who uses a wheelchair that I need to transport. This car is exactly what we needed to make our lives a little easier. We could not do it otherwise. I love this car!
Ryan was very friendly and helpful. He listened to and accommodated our needs. He took the time to find the best vehicle for our family. He made sure we had the best price and value for our money. We were very impressed with how throughly he knew the inventory. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family!

We are loving our 2015 Ford Edge. It is very roomy and my tall husband fits very comfortably in it. We love all of the additional features and it makes for a very convenient and comfortable ride.
Wow! What a great experience!!! We worked with Mike Pocci, Ryan Keebler, & business manager Mike Everson... and they were a fantastic team! They were respectful and did not pressure us in any way. They helped answer all of our questions (even when I still did not understand remote keyless start after the 2nd explanation, lol!). They were knowledgeable, shopped around to get us the best rate, and were extremely genuine. We will definitely return to buy vehicles with this stellar team!

We bought our 2015 Edge SE in Oct 14. They changed the body style and we love it. We have had it a little over 3yrs and have not had a problem. It’s is a little wider than the previous models, but we like that. It handles very well, gets up and goes, plus doesn’t feel your going 100mph when you are due to how smooth it is. This is the second Ford we have owned and we will be keeping this until it dies. We have taken it on multiple long trips without issue. There is plenty of cargo space, good sound system, and features you will find on a $60k vehicle, plus more!. It truly is a joy to drive, you won’t be disappointed in purchasing one.
Jacob Ferguson was very helpful answering all our questions about the technology features and helped us through them. Polite and friendly staff including sales manager Jeff Franke ,financial personnel Omar Jimenez, general manager Kasey Shirey and our salesman Jacob.
I had been searching for months for a Ford Edge with certain options that were a must have. I finally ran across one online that was more than perfect. I called and talked to Ryan and he ran some numbers for me and was very nice and professional. After a couple hours of thinking it over I went and saw Ryan and bought it. This car made me feel like I'm one of the richest people in Portland. It has more leg room and the seats are comfortable. But I wish the front seats are adjustable to pull the legs and push to extend. The other thing is the USB port makes the car more hitech. It makes me feel safe when driving it on the freeway or congested area. When it comes to gas wise, it is the best.
I bought a 2016 Ford F-150 from Jim Schmitz back in early July. I recently had the brakes replaced with new rotors and had to work done by my mechanic in the town that I live in. I contacted Jim Schmidt about this problem and they have taken care of over half of the bill or paying for the parts and they realized it was a mistake on their part work should have been done originally and they made it right with me I am writing this review into cancel out the other two because they came forward and made it right with the customer( myself).
Everything went well with the purchase of my 2017 Expedition EL. We took delivery the day after our visit because they were to have fixed the back-up camera. The back-up camera was faulty with the image being distorted and was identified during test drive with agreement to have it fixed. Upon delivery, on the same day, the camera again failed and has continued to not be functional (this is day 2). I'm not to worried because they said they would make sure it was fixed so I will write a follow up to this to let you know how it turns out.
That said I feel based on my initial experience they will be true to their word. Look for a review once it does or doesn't get repaired. I do want to say I dealt with AJ (sales) and he was great to work with, always following up and keeping me up to date over a lengthy period. At this time I would recommend him as a great representative of the dealership being knowledgeable and easy to work with.
I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to see Jim Schmidt Ford. These are good people, they are honest and there is no pressure. They are not the type of sales people or dealership you may be used to. Honesty and decency are on the top of the list for their employees and this dealership. If you are in the market I urge you to make a visit.
I bought a 2016 F-150 from Jim Schmidt Ford this week. I had looked at a lot of trucks online, visited several dealers and attempted to buy at one other dealer. Terry and the whole team at Jim Schmidt Ford made the process hassle free and easy going. There wasn’t a high pressure “typical” process that I’ve experienced at other dealerships. He absolutely earned our business, sending pictures prior to our arrival, very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and easy to work with. Most of all, we appreciated AJ staying late for us to complete the sale! Their family-friendly kids play area was also very much appreciated! He even texted us to make sure we made it home okay after a pretty long trip back home. Would definitely recommend Jim Schmidt Ford to anyone.

We just bought a new Edge after trading in our 2007 with 195,000 miles. It was a great car and never needed anything beyond routine maintenance. Hope this new one is just as good!
