Used 2019 Ford Edge for sale near Bloomfield Hills, MI

We have a 2013 Edge SEL AWD which replaced my wife’s older Explorer which she drive for many years and the Edge has been a real pleasure to drive. I had two successive Expeditions for business which I drove for around half a million miles. So, in late 2022, when we decided to sell the Expy and downsize, we decided to “upgrade” my wife’s Edge and I would keep the 2013. We searched for a good price on a 2019 Titanium and enlisted the help of a sales rep at Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC who had found the 2013 model for us. He found a 2019 Edge ST in Performance Blue with reasonable mileage and not even a scratch!! The interior was immaculate and the panoramic moon roof was the clincher. As an “outside sales rep” for 45 years, I have driven two million miles. During that time, we have owned Volvos, a Saab, Chevrolets, a Chrysler Concorde, a Pontiac, and a bunch of Fords. This ST is the best vehicle we have ever owned!!! Zero to 60 in five, great handling, quiet ride, and 29.7 average on the road at interstate speeds!!! I cannot say too much in favor of this car. I really like this vehicle. The edge has great space and ergonomics. The technology packages make the driving experience enjoyable and safe. One problem with the vehicle is the infotainment system that is unreliable. I have had it replaced once and it is again not working properly.

Until 2017, my wife and I had been driving only 4WD vehicles (Bronco, Explorer, two Expeditions) and then we bought a used but fairly dressed up 2013 Edge SEL AWD (Nav, BLIS, V6) and immediately fell in love with it. No major issues except one brake problem which was totally corrected by the dealer for a teeth jarring $800! But it performed very well (not like a Corvette!) with 280 HP and really tight steering. So, when it came time to sell my second Expedition, I took the old Edge and we bought HER a ‘19 ST with the Performance Blue exterior. This one truly drives like a dream even when it’s not in sport mode! It’s fully loaded except for performance brakes but the brakes in the ST are beefed up anyway so the two Edges really drive differently. We will be 80 soon and this car will see us out! I hope we can avoid a speeding ticket!!!!?

My husband found this titanium edge in my favorite Candy Apple Red color and bought it for me for Mothers Day 2023 and this is the most luxurious suv ever!! This thing is fully loaded with things I would have never thought of. The two-tone interior is gorgeous!! So spacious inside. Love the remote start! Cooling seats are fabulous in Florida. Entire top is a sunroof which is gorgeous. Sound system is better than a Bose! Love that I control my seat settings and it allows for another driver to do the same thing through memory. This vehicle is just the top of the line!! Love EVERYTHING about it! Highly recommend!!!

The short story... a really great vehicle. When I started my vehicle search, this vehicle wasn't on my list. I read about it in a review of the category and thought I would take it for a test drive and now I own it. It has everything I wanted in a vehicle and more. Purchased CPO SEL model with 14k miles. Nice looking exterior, very comfortable interior. The seats are great. Very quiet cabin. 0 to 60 speed is very acceptable. Loaded with features. A very enjoyable ride. My only negatives... good, not great sound system. No seat memory settings. All that said, I recommend you buy one.

Our last five cars have come from Roy O’Brien, some used, some leased, and they’ve been extremely helpful and friendly every time. The sales team is very knowledgeable and has worked within our budget to find the right vehicles for us. They’ve walked us through financing and made sure we know all our options and are comfortable with not only the car we’re getting but the monthly payments and service plan. So far so good. Test drove many cars at other lots and drove garbage. Went to X Drive and the moment I drove it for only 2 minutes, I knew it was it. Amazing vehicle so far so good. No complaints. Great customer service. Got an extended warranty, I totally recommend them. Even negotiated my price and worked with me. Very honest people.

What a fun day we had with our salesman, Ron Zontini. He made the car-buying process easy. Despite the anxiety of purchasing a vehicle and the unfortunate demand during this pandemic, we got through it unscathed. It helped that we did our homework. The process was easy to purchase a certified used car with Southgate. I was a bit disappointed picking up the vehicle once I purchased it, and it was not cleaned to my expectation (after speaking with the salesperson who said it would be). Overall, I am happy with my purchase and the dealership was patient, not pushy, and helpful.
