Transmission issues
At 73000 miles we had very expensive transmission issues . Apparently after research this was found to be a common issue in this year and model
Where was this ST when we were young?
Until 2017, my wife and I had been driving only 4WD vehicles (Bronco, Explorer, two Expeditions) and then we bought a used but fairly dressed up 2013 Edge SEL AWD (Nav, BLIS, V6) and immediately fell in love with it. No major issues except one brake problem which was totally corrected by the dealer for a teeth jarring $800! But it performed very well (not like a Corvette!) with 280 HP and really tight steering. So, when it came time to sell my second Expedition, I took the old Edge and we bought HER a ‘19 ST with the Performance Blue exterior. This one truly drives like a dream even when it’s not in sport mode! It’s fully loaded except for performance brakes but the brakes in the ST are beefed up anyway so the two Edges really drive differently. We will be 80 soon and this car will see us out! I hope we can avoid a speeding ticket!!!!?
Buy the titanium ford edge
My husband found this titanium edge in my favorite Candy Apple Red color and bought it for me for Mothers Day 2023 and this is the most luxurious suv ever!! This thing is fully loaded with things I would have never thought of. The two-tone interior is gorgeous!! So spacious inside. Love the remote start! Cooling seats are fabulous in Florida. Entire top is a sunroof which is gorgeous. Sound system is better than a Bose! Love that I control my seat settings and it allows for another driver to do the same thing through memory. This vehicle is just the top of the line!! Love EVERYTHING about it! Highly recommend!!!
Surprise, surprise, surprise
The short story... a really great vehicle. When I started my vehicle search, this vehicle wasn't on my list. I read about it in a review of the category and thought I would take it for a test drive and now I own it. It has everything I wanted in a vehicle and more. Purchased CPO SEL model with 14k miles. Nice looking exterior, very comfortable interior. The seats are great. Very quiet cabin. 0 to 60 speed is very acceptable. Loaded with features. A very enjoyable ride. My only negatives... good, not great sound system. No seat memory settings. All that said, I recommend you buy one.
Not reliable SUV
Beside being a nice looking confortable SUV, do not rely on it. My Ford Edge and my friend Ford Edge is not working anymore because of motor problems. Not a good truck for the family. The motor overheat all the time and finally dies on you.
My favorite car
This is my favorite grown up car I have ever owned. All I drove when I was younger was fast sports cars. This car has it all. Comfort, style, speed, and good for all types of weather driving conditions.
Love my Edge!
This car is so good! I really enjoy Edges and keep coming back and finding another one I like and trading for that one. 😂 I went from a 2013, to a 2014, to this 2019. It’s very spacious inside. The heated and air-conditioned seats are amazing. I love having the heated steering wheel in the winter. It has auto set for two drivers for the seat, the steering wheel is easy to move around. The cargo area in the back is really convenient. I love the remote start and the Ford pass app for my phone is super useful as well!
Pleased on multiple levels.
Stylish, sophisticated, functional on many levels. Great vehicle. Leased it for three years but now plan to buy it once lease ends. Really pleased with its look, comfort and versatility.
GREAT CAR WITH GREAT FEATURES
THIS CAR IS A 4 CYLINDER WITH A TURBO AND IT HAS ALL THE ACCELERATION I WOULD WANT. IT HAS THE NEW SAFETY FEATURES LIKE ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL THAT I LIKE A LOT. NO PROBLEMS SO FAR.
Love this Car; no you can't buy it back
Edge ST with performance brakes. Best car I've ever owned. A vehicle for urban and open road driving. The driving assist mode takes the stress out of highway driving. The adaptive safety features are remarkable in the way they anticipate the driving experience.
